Rest In Peace Reggie E. Holloway Posted: 19 Mar 2010 01:14 PM PDT I had the pleasure of meeting Reggie more than three years back at the Premium Goods 2 Year Anniversary Party where he dropped people’s jaws with his VIP Nike AF1 low iDs taking the top prize for best sneakers worn to the event. His knowledge and passion for sneakers was like few I have ever seen and especially for the Nike Air Force 1. Nothing got in his way of obtaining a rare pair and never was he satisfied - always on the hunt. Always positive and always with a smile on his face, Reggie was a great friend to everyone in the Houston and Texas sneaker community. Rest in peace Reggie. The Reggie E. Holloway Funeral Service will be Monday, March 22 at 11AM. Champions Forrest Baptist Church 15555 Stuebner Airline Road Houston, TX 77069 281.586.2012 [MAP] All friends and acquaintances of Reggie are welcome. Reggie wants you to wear your best AF1s! | -

SN’EADS - “Got Kix?” Posted: 19 Mar 2010 11:58 AM PDT A couple of weeks ago, SN’EADS became a much-needed attention getter for the Nike SB Dunk Hi Premium "Cosby Sweater". This week, SN’EADS by REE focuses its attention on the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Retro “Oreo”. In this comic strip, it seems a sneaker enthusiasts takes the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Oreo” a little too literal. Most of us are guilty of dunking our Oreos into milk; yet, dunking your new “Oreo” Air Jordan 6s in milk may not be such a great idea. Is this a definite purchase for you tomorrow? Follow SN'EADS by REE on Twitter for more updates. | Read the rest of SN’EADS - “Got Kix?” © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 13 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: |
New Balance 996 “Made in USA” Grey/Black Posted: 19 Mar 2010 11:13 AM PDT The last “Made in USA” New Balance we spotted was also a 996. Sporting a patriotic red, white and blue color scheme, that shoe was an immediate hit with readers. Following that pair is this one, which sports a way darker look. Charcoal grey suede is used one the toe and heel, while a lighter colored mesh fills the toe box and shows up again at the collar. Black leather support the mid-panel, which shows off a reflective N logo. If you’re after a pair of these Newbies, you’ll have to head to mita or wait until they come stateside. | Read the rest of New Balance 996 “Made in USA” Grey/Black © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 2 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: New Balance, New Balance 996 |

Nike Air Max Hyperize “Final Four” Pack Posted: 19 Mar 2010 09:43 AM PDT The Air Max Hyperize may not have made an NCAA on-court appearance yet, but Nike is all set (unofficially) for Duke and Purdue runs to the Final Four with these special shoes. Purdue will likely not fulfill the expectations, thanks an untimely injury late in the season, but Duke’s number one seed has them primed for a national championship berth. The “Duke” pair utilizes black patent leather on its mudguard, while blue is used on the Flywire and mesh tongue. White is used elsewhere. The other pair relies on a white majority, with gold and black helping out. Both sit on 360 degree Air Max soles and used a special tongue tag. Said tongue logo features a basketball net being cut down, an obvious nod to the NCAA tradition. Both pairs can be purchased now at Finish Line.
