Nike Dunk Low

This new colorway of the classic Nike Dunk Low will take you back to the 80’s. I remember having a gym bag with the same White/Yellow/Aqua Coloring. An electric yellow swoosh runs along the sides and is helped by the predominantly white leather upper to stand out. The laces and toungue are lined in a teal coloring. $155.

Nike Air Max 24-7 “Neon”

Posted: 13 May 2010 12:58 PM PDT

Nike Air Max 24-7 "Neon"

The Nike Air Max 24-7 combines the some of the best runners of the past 20 or so years, so it’s only fitting that it drop in one of the best colorways from that same time frame. Drawing cues from the Air Max 95 “Neon,” this 24-7 is available now at select retailers.

The classic gradient layered feature appears along the sides of the upper, while neon interjects at key points. The 360 degree Air Max carried over from the Air Max 2009 shows off the bright color, as do the Swoosh and lace loops. The lowest gradient level is actually black leather on this pair, as opposed to nubuck or suede on the actual 95s.

Nike Air Maxim 1 Trainer “Sail”

Posted: 13 May 2010 11:58 AM PDT

Nike Air Maxim 1 Trainer "Sail"

A new colorway of the Nike Air Maxim 1 Trainer is on its way to your local shop in the coming weeks. Following the “Chlorophyll” look that dressed the first Air Trainer 1 + Air Maxim 1 combination, this shoe brings a nice Summer aesthetic with it.

Sail suede appears on the mudguard and heel area, while white canvas fills out the toe box. The quarter panel Flywire is white and shows brown threads, which are complemented by the forefoot strap. A gum outsole is the final touch of brown to complete the look. Is this pair an improvement over the debut colorway?

Nike Air Max 90 “Purple Snakeskin”

Posted: 13 May 2010 10:58 AM PDT

Nike Air Max 90 "Purple Snakeskin"

If you thought the “Avatar Na’vi” AM90 was wild, you haven’t seen anything yet. The “Purple Snakeskin” Nike Air Max 90 we see here is covered in, you guessed it, purple snakeskin.

These were reportedly created as a friends and family gift for Nike iD employees and will never see the light of retail. The namesake material is draped over every surface, including the unbranded tongue tag. A white and purple midsole helps, as do purple plastic midfoot bits. While these will remain samples, a select few are available via Mental Kicks.

In Retrospect: “Pearl” Nike Air Foamposite Pro

Posted: 13 May 2010 10:33 AM PDT

Around this time last year , the “Pearl” Nike Air Foamposite Pro released exclusively to House of Hoops retailers nationwide. It ultimately became one of the more sought-after releases despite it being very hard to obtain.

However, we have learned that the “Pearl” Nike Air Foamposite Pro is set to re-release later this year. This time, the “Pearl” Nike Air Foamposite Pro will be a regular, limited release instead of dropping only at House of Hoops. As for design cues, the off-white, colored base is offset by an icy sole and minimal black hints such as the swoosh, midfoot and inner lining.

Were you able to get your hands on the “Pearl” Nike Air Foamposite Pro? If you did not get a chance to purchase it or you passed up on the opportunity, are you happy to see it return a year later?
