With all the speculation that Nike’s Tennis Ball Hypermax NFW Pack was not going to drop in the US, it seems that all of the brou-haha can be put to rest.

NY retailer, Sneaker Bistro, recently posted an update confirming that they will be receiving the Pack as a Quickstrike release.  A week ago, the hype seemed to be dying down, but you can expect people to be coming out of the woodworks for these.

This news does beg the question:  Will the McFly Hypermax NFW drop in the US too?  Let us know what you think about the Tennis Ball Pack and stay tuned for further details.

Air Jordan Fusion 13 White/Black-Varsity Red

Posted: 14 Aug 2009 09:33 PM PDT

Air Jordan Fusion 13 White/Black-Varsity RedThe idea of an Air Jordan Fusion sounds rather simple right?  Well, not if you really want to fuse the two properly.  In the beginning, the AJF 12 and AJF 5 featured pretty much untouched AF1 outsoles slapped to the bottom of Air Jordan uppers.  As the line progressed, the soles were altered to resemble the soles of the original Air Jordan shoes more and more.

For creating the Air Jordan Fusion 13, Jordan Brand might have one of the hardest outsoles to create with an AF1 mold.  The upper strongly resembles the original Air Jordan 13 with a defined toebox and added ankle strap.

All things considered, what are you opinions of the Air Jordan Fusion 13?  How high (or low) does this rank in the Fusion series?  Word is that this is the second to the last model of the Fusion series - is this something to be celebrated?  Leave your two cents after the jump.

C2 x Leaders1354 x Nike Dunk High - The Final Custom

Posted: 14 Aug 2009 12:40 PM PDT

C2 x Leaders1354 x Nike Dunk Hi CustomIt was five years ago that Ty of Leader1354 linked up with then 14 year old Chris Hui to create a custom pair of Nike Dunks.  The shoes were well received and even made it into Sneaker Freaker way back when.  Chris painted approximately 15 of the “Dunk 95″ customs but is giving everyone one last chance at obtaining his work in collaboration with Leaders1354.  A few years and a few hundred customs later, C2 is hanging up his brushes for good as he heads into his second year at the University of Minnesota.

On August 21st, Leaders will release the C2 x Leaders1354 x Nike Dunk High limited to only 12 pairs.  For the special release, Leaders has also worked up a limited fitted to match the sneakers that will release the same day.  Stay tuned for more information as this release quickly approaches.
