ALIFE Everybody M Low LEA
This new Alife Everybody Low, which has been dubbed the LEA, decides not to go for an overcomplicated look and keep things simplke with an almost entirely white shoe. In fact everything is white except for the bronze stitching on the midsole and the bronze logo on the side. [EUKicks]

Puma Slipstream Hi “Monster”

Posted: 18 Aug 2009 12:30 PM PDT

Puma Slipstream Hi MonsterOriginally released in the 1980’s, the Puma Slipstream was the brand’s headlining basketball sneaker featuring the latest in stability and cushioning the brand offered for the basketball market.  Brought back in 2002, the Slipstream underwent an image transformation as well as earning a new nickname.  The shoes came back with faux fur and reptile skin and featured a stamp that read “The Beast” on the side of the sneaker.  Quickly that name became ubiquitious with the model.

Seven years later, Puma has brought back “The Beast” as “The Monster”.  Though the shoes rock the original Slipstream stamp on the side of the shoes, they come with modern treatments of faux fur, reptile skin, and patent leather.  The Puma Slipstream Hi “Monster” is available in two colors in Paris at colette and at Puma retailers in the US.

Air Jordan 11 Space Jam Available EarlyI am sure many of you have a countdown until the Space Jams release this winter, but some of you can scrap that paper chain if you want to throw down a couple extra bills.  The Air Jordan 11 Space Jams hit the web available for sale at a handful of overseas based websites, but now the products have hit eBay from some reputable sellers.

The shoes will be $175 when they release later this year, but if you want to get them early, eBay seller SUPREMExCLIENTELE is offering them with Buy It Now’s for $460…about $300 more than the sticker price.

It is probably a foolish question to ask if these are on your holiday wish list, but would you lay down an extra 3 bills for having them 3 months early?

PF-Flyers Bob Cousy All American

Posted: 18 Aug 2009 10:16 AM PDT

PF-Flyers Bob Cousy All AmericanYou probably have heard this story before. A man born in New York, takes up basketball as a teenager, goes to college where he wins an NCAA Championship, turns around his new NBA team from awful to awesome, retires after grabbing 6 rings, and comes back when he is old enough to be the father of some of his teammates. Many of you may be thinking of Michael Jordan, but a generation before Mike was born, Bob Cousy was making history.

During Cousy’s pro career he had one shoe of choice, PF-Flyers.  Though details are a little scarce, it is said by some accounts that Cousy was the first NBA player to have a signature with the release of the PF-Flyers Cousy All American Lo in 1956.  (There is still debate whether his name was on the product back then.)

This fall PF-Flyers is reissuing the Bob Cousy All American in a number of tonal colorups.  Click here to see the entire lineup.

PF Flyers Wind Jammer Mid

Posted: 18 Aug 2009 09:02 AM PDT

PF Flyers Wind Jammer MidPF Flyers has released three basic colorways: magenta, brown, and sky blue in their Wind Jammer Mid model. The Wind Jammer Mid is PF Flyers’ take on the classic chukka and it appears that they have done it justice. Each make-up is comprised of a wholly suede upper anchored by a vulcanized sole. On each sneaker, the foxing and “P.F.” insignia identify themselves as the only attributes to deviate from the majority color dominating the upper. This facet allows for some contrast within the shoe thereby rising it above yet another banal minimalist silhouette.

Nike Terminator: Fall 2009

Posted: 18 Aug 2009 08:14 AM PDT

Nike Terminator: Fall 2009

For Fall 2009, Nike has released two colorways of their Terminator model. It seems this silhouette has come a long way from its OG grey and navy make-up intended for Georgetown basketball. Nike appeases both sexes by releasing both an effeminate and a masculine colorway as the latest newborns in the Terminator lineage. For the men, a simple black/yellow color-up is utilized. Whereas for the women, Nike altered the traditional upper a bit to provide an alternating grey/turquoise diagonal stripe in the mid panel therefore separating the pink toe box and heel.

Post your comments after the break to let us know whether you prefer the Terminators of the ’80s or these new school colorways.
