Onitsuka Tiger Sunotore for Fall/Winter

Onitsuka Tiger Sunotore for Fall/Winter

When a sneaker just can’t cut it in poor weather, we turn to boots. And for Fall or Winter of 2010,Onitsuka Tiger is looking to ease the transition with this Sunotore.

The lower portion of this model screams tennis shoe, but the high-top cut and ribbed ankle design are definitely borrowed from boot attributes. On the inside, a waterproof Gore-Tex material is used to add to the durability of these. Black leather is used on the toe, heel, ankle and midfoot. Purple comes in as an accent color on the midsole, liner and contrast stitching on the arched design in the mid-panel.

Posted: 20 Jan 2010 12:28 PM PST

Jordan 16.5

Surprisingly, the Jordan 16.5 has been the most popular Jordan Brand sneaker in Kicks On Court this basketball season. Every Jordan Brand member has worn this sneaker at least one time. Likewise, it has been one of the more sought-after ‘remix’ basketball sneakers in a long time. We now have spotted one of, if not the best colorway seen on this sneaker.

This Jordan 16.5 would definitely be a perfect secondary option for Chris Paul in case he wanted to retire the Jordan CP3.IIIs for a few games. It possesses a mainly black colored base with aquatone contrast stitching throughout the majority of the base. In addition, it also owns a purple inner lining, a black patent leather toe area and a clear outsole. Is this the best Jordan 16.5 you have seen yet? Click here to view more photos.

Vision Streetwear 1400

Vision Streetwear 1400

Vision Streetwear has been around since 1976 and has catered to the skate scene since its inception. And for 2010, the 1400 high-top sneaker is set to drop in a number of looks.

While we’ve always seen skate shoes use vulcanized soles or slimmed down ones for added board feel, these rely on a rather chunky base. Extra padding all around should keep you comfortable and the high ankle strap will help to lock wearers in. 3 men’s color-ups can be seen alongside 2 for the ladies. For men, color combinations include White/Grey-Red, Black/Red and Grey/Dark Grey-Green. The ladies versions are slightly different, as the shoe itself uses a slimmed down sole and a thinner ankle strap. Touches of leopard print along the mid-panel are sure to be a polarizing feature.

Nike SB Dunk Mid Black/Sail-Varsity Red

Posted: 20 Jan 2010 11:28 AM PST

Nike Dunk

Nike rarely releases new colorways of the Nike SB Dunk Mid seeing that most sneaker enthusiasts would rather see multiple colorways of the Dunk Low and Dunk Hi. However, we have now spotted a very fresh SB Dunk Mid that is now available at select retailers such as Maze.

This multi-colored, head-turning SB Dunk Mid is comprised of a few textures such as the nylon, suede and leather. The most noticeable sections on this shoe are the toe box and heel panel thanks to the red suede. The rest of the sneaker features hints of black and sail making for a nice color combination. As stated earlier, it is now available at Maze. Click here to view additional photos.

Nike Air Classic BW Textile

Nike Air Classic BW Textile

If you checked out our “History of Updated Classics” feature (Do that if you haven’t yet), you already know that the Nike Air Classic BW has been beefed up with new technology for 2010 to become the Air Max BW Gen II. The original’s not going away completely though, as seen here in this Textile version.

White tumbled leather makes up the majority, as it’s seen on the mudguard and midfoot. Matching white mesh fills in the remainder of the upper. Mirror-finish plasic wraps around the heel just above the sole, and a bit of red jumps in at the heel outsole. You can grab these now at CaliRoots if you’re more a fan of the original’s style.

Jordan Classic '91 Varsity Red/Black-White

Reebok has made its presence felt on the hardwood this year by releasing the Reebok Talkin’ Krazy II. We have seen players such as Jason Terry and Danilo Gallinari sporting this sneaker in various colorways that are now available at select retailers. However, we have spotted a Reebok Talkin’ Krazy II that will not be available to the public.

This particular Reebok Talkin’ Krazy II was designed for the infamous Harlem Globetrotters; therefore, it owns sort of an American flag inspired color scheme. The side panels feature an red and white stripe design, while the collar area possesses a blue patent leather covering overlayed by white stars. Other features include an enlarged red Reebok logo in between the toe area and the side panels, a white midsole and a red outsole. If this Reebok Talkin’ Krazy II “Harlem Globetrotters” were to release, would you purchase a pair?

Mark McNairy for PRO-Keds

American fashion designer Mark McNairy has partnered up with PRO-Keds for a 5-shoe run for the upcoming Fall months.

The low-top design uses very simple paneling and was seen in 5 colorways at the Bread&Butter tradeshow. 4 of the colors use a gum sole with the trademark red and blue stripes on the forefoot. White, tan, navy blue and green all sit on the aforementioned colored sole, while the red pair uses a white sole. Suede is the choice material of the uppers, and all but the tan use uppers-matching laces.
