Perhaps the most beloved run of ads was “The LeBrons”, a series of spots centered around four different LeBron alter egos: Kid LeBron, Athlete LeBron, All-Business LeBron, and Wise LeBron. To the chagrin of fans these characters will return in an animated series running on LeBron’s Youtube channel and website. Look for “The LeBrons” to release this spring at a computer near you. | Posted: 18 Jan 2011 11:58 AM PST Television shows and sneakers have been intertwined for the longest (see our Sneaker Geeks: 8 of the Best TV Show Inspired Sneakers). Earlier today, we showed you the “Sunset” Nike Zoom Kobe VI which can easily be associated with Fox’s drama series, The O.C. Now, take a look at the head-turning Nike LeBron 8 V2 “Entourage”. This new colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 V2 is inspired by LeBron James favorite TV show, The Entourage. The actual color scheme of this LeBron 8 V2 is a nod to the same-colored Entourage Seasons 1-7 DVD Boxset poster. The Photo Blue upper is offset by the black and yellow Flywire tendons, along with the yellow-outlined, black swoosh. The secondary colors also appear on the number eight-shaped eyelets, sole and 360 Max Air unit. Look for the Nike LeBron 8 V2 “Entourage” to hit select retailers in March. This OG colorway returns for the first time baring a black and light graphite upper with bordeaux accents. | Air Jordan 2011 “Year of the Rabbit” Box Preview Posted: 18 Jan 2011 11:28 AM PST The Nike Air Force One “Year of the Rabbit” is one of the most anticipated sneakers this year. The Air Jordan 2011 hasn’t garned such positive results across the board. We learn today of an Air Jordan 2011 “Year of the Rabbit” based on new images of the shoe’s packaging. While no actual pics of the colorway have surfaced we do get a sense of high detail and perhaps a red and gold theme. Keep checking Nice Kicks for more news on this upcoming release. | Posted: 18 Jan 2011 10:36 AM PST It seems as if Kobe Bryant’s sixth signature Nike shoe, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, has surfaced in a new colorway everyday since its official release. Following the “3D” and Grey/Varsity Royal colorways we showed you earlier, we now have spotted the most eye-catching colorway of this shoe to date (“Stoplight” Nike Zoom Kobe VI may have something to say about that). The “Sunset” Nike Zoom Kobe VI is inspired by the beautiful, captivating sunset one can see when laying on any of the beaches in California. However, this Kobe VI can definitely be associated with Fox’s American serial-drama, The O.C. A gradient-like, Orange Blaze color scheme smothers the entire upper and is complimented by a translucent Grey Teal outsole which may represent the beautiful, clear water on the California beaches. This attribute is complimented by the heel construction and swoosh which also feature the same blue tint. Other sunset/beach details include the orange, sandy-like insole which also features a starfish and the initials, “LA”. As of now, there is no word on when this shoe will release; meanwhile, view detailed photos below. Where does the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Sunset” rank amongst its predecessors?
