| Dave White x Air Jordan 1 “Wings for the Future” New Photos Posted: 30 Aug 2011 12:01 PM PDT Earlier this month, we gave you a look at the Dave White x Air Jordan 1 “Wings for the Future” in which many of you took a strong liking to. Just two days away from its release (Thursday, September 1), we now have additional, detailed images of this retro. David White, an artist and Jordan fanatic, opted for a Black/White-Red colored Air Jordan 1 in a patriotic style. If you recall, a similar creation was made available earlier this year in the form of an auction (23 pairs). Special details include an elephant print forefoot, nubuck toe box and a gradient-like effect on the heel. As stated earlier, the Dave White x Air Jordan 1 “Wings for the Future” will release on September 1, 2011 at select retailers. The Nike Vandal has also been the focus of many unique colorways as well as limited editions. Today, we take a look at another unseen colorway. This pair features a completely black suede base material, which is complimented with white accents on the ankle strap and side-panel Swoosh.
