The fall of 2011 will be much of the same for Sneaker Pimps. On Saturday, September 3, 2011, Sneaker Pimps will travel to Los Angeles. The event will give attendees the opportunity to buy, sell and trade sneakers, while engaging in performances from the likes of Thurz, Rich Hill, Blake Carrington, and the Dean’s List. | adidas Superstar 80s “Ballistic Nylon” Black/Dark Indigo Posted: 23 Aug 2011 12:28 PM PDT OG style gets a new material treatment for the next take on the classic adidas Originals Superstar 80s. Ballistic nylon is used for the entire upper, save for the leather detail panels and of course, the ribbed rubber toe cap. Coloring on this one mixes black, Dark Indigo and some tanned leather. It seems only fitting that the Jordan 8.0 be one of the first hybrid Jordans to feature a flywire infused upper. Here's a look at the white/grey/blue colorway of the Jordan 8.0, rumored to drop at select stores such as Ruvilla on October 22. | Jordan Brand Future Sole 2011 Preview Posted: 23 Aug 2011 12:07 PM PDT Tomorrow, August 23, 2011, Jordan Brand will release the Jordan Melo M7 Future Sole; however, we should also be looking forward to another special treat for the Future Sole competition. Tomorrow also marks the beginning of the Future Sole 2011 in which two high school seniors will present their design concepts for a New York City inspired signature shoe for Carmelo Anthony. Recently, Jordan Brand released photos of finalists Nick Diaber and Jacob Rochester in their final stages of creating their kicks. Both finalists individually met with Jordan Brand Material Designer Suzette Henri to pick out materials and construct the shoe. The Oakley wearing, Brandy-prom-dating, high school phenom made a name for himself early signing with the Lakers at age 17. While he wouldn't come into his own on court until his second season he'd find himself with a sneaker contract right away.
