Air Jordan 12 Retro White/Varsity Red

Posted: 05 Sep 2009 12:43 PM PDT

Air Jordan 12

Sure, we just showed you this week’s Hot Topics; however, had we waited a little longer this would easily be the hottest of them all. The Air Jordan 12 has, or will be seen in multiple classic colorways this year including the “Nubuck”, the “Rising Sun” and the “Flu Game”. You can now add the infamous Air Jordan 12 Retro White/Varsity Red to the list of highly anticipated Jordan sneakers for 2009.

If you recall, the Air Jordan 12 White/Varsity Red originally hit the scene in 1997. Since then, it has not been retroed until this year. As for the makeup, it contains a sort of similar colorway to the aforementioned “Flu Game”, yet it features a predominance of white leather instead of the black nubuck. With that said, there are not many glaring differences between the OG version and this retro. Look for this instant classic to release some time in the winter. Meanwhile, click here to view additional photos.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Tradition” - London

Posted: 05 Sep 2009 11:43 AM PDT

Nike Air Max LeBron VII

The majority of you really took a liking towards the Behind The Scenes: Making Of The LeBron VII Paris Artist Series. I’m sure you would agree it supplies us with a different twist to the LeBron VII craze. However, we now have to return to our regularly scheduled program. Photos of the London version of LeBron’s seventh signature sneaker has surfaced on the web.

Much like the other city-dedicated Air Max LeBron VII’s, this particular shoe also owns the white/green color scheme that draws inspiration from ‘King James’ high school, St. Vincent St. Mary’s. However, the London version, which represents “Tradition”, contains specific details from LeBron’s teammates. For example, a picture of a couple of the St. Vincent St. Mary’s players with hands raised in the center of a huddle is featured on the tongue and quarter panel. This particular shoe, which was made in 123 pairs, is available at London Niketown and the opening day of the new London House of Hoops in Footlocker. Click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Destroyer’s Pack

Posted: 05 Sep 2009 11:13 AM PDT

Nike Destroyers Pack

For the past couple of years, Nike has created a “Destroyer’s” Pack which includes multiple colorways of the Dunk High. In 2007, we spotted the “Red Earth” colorway; however last year Nike revealed three new Dunk High colorways of “Destroyer’s” collection. Yet, this particular year seems to be very different from past “Destroyer” releases.

As opposed to the aforementioned releases, this Nike “Destroyer’s Pack possesses an Air Force 1 Mid to go along with two vibrant Dunk colorways. The Air Force 1 Mid contains a predominately black leather base with minimal yellow accents throughout the upper. As far as the Dunk color schemes, one owns a black/red base, while the remaining pair features a white/orange-black colorway. Available today at 21 Mercer. Also, click here to view the New Era fitted caps that coincide with the sneakers.

Nike Terminator

In honor of their 10th anniversary, Japanese label Swagger hooked up with Nike to create this Terminator High Supreme. The collaborative design, which we have shown you on two other occasions, is now available at select retailers such as Concepts.

This particular sneaker design may be one of the more uniquely-styled releases we have seen this year. Both shoes are inspired by chocolate, with one owning a mint-colored base and the other possessing a dark chocolate-colored upper. As for the makeup, both sneakers are also smothered in a patent leather snakeskin texture which sits atop a monochromatic sole. Does the mismatch look suit you? Click here to view additional photos.
