Wale debuted one of these last week with an on-stage appearance, while we’re seeing the other for the first time. Both pairs show monochromatic builds of either Club Purple or Obsidian. The toe and midfoot are dressed in leather, while the quarter panel is suede. The full-length Air units are also part of the single color builds. Both pairs can be purchased now on Eastbay, though they won’t be shipped until the beginning of June. Air Jordan 2 Retro “Vero Cuoio” Premio Sample Posted: 24 May 2010 12:28 PM PDT The Air Jordan Bin 23 Collection continues to garner a lot of attention. We recently showed you detailed photos of the soon-to-be-released “Bin 23″ Air Jordan 9 and the “Bin 23″ Air Jordan 2s are going for a very hefty price on eBay among other places. We now spotted an Air Jordan 2 Retro Premio sample available on eBay in a size 9. This particular Air Jordan 2 Retro was supposedly a finished product before the actual “Bin 23″ Air Jordan 2. This sample is comprised of multiple textures that include premium leather (predominance of the base) and pebbled leather (side panels). Another interesting attribute pertaining to the texture is the branded stamp of Vero Cuoio located on the insole. Vero Cuoio is an Italian company that specializes in premium sole leather. Therefore, this element seems fitting seeing that the Air Jordan II silhouette was made in Italy and features Italian details. As stated earlier, this Air Jordan 2 Retro “Vero Cuoio” Premio Sample is now available on eBay in a size 9. Nike Air Max 90 White/Obsidian Posted: 24 May 2010 11:58 AM PDT The Nike Air Max 90 was been spotted in this new colorway for this Summer, and should be available widely shortly. Though unrelated to the US soccer team’s efforts in the World Cup or the “Omega” Pack, this pair dons a red, white and blue color scheme. Technically, the leather that covers the mudguard, forefoot and quarter panel is Obsidian. Meanwhile, red patent leather is used on the Swoosh and is matched by the outsole heel and cloth liner. White mesh is used for a healthy portion of the upper and a touch of grey surrounds the Air Max window. These can be pre-ordered now from End if you can’t wait to secure your own pair. Oshman’s x New Balance 1600 Posted: 24 May 2010 11:28 AM PDT Oshman’s and New Balance’s work continues as both sides have now hooked up and collaborated on two 1600 models. This time, they have included the efforts of Corona and Mita for this two-sneaker lineup. The New Balance 1600s involved in this lineup feature colorways that are similar to Oshman’s x New Balance previous effrots including the 1500, the 1300 and the 1001. One pair contains a blue suede upper with minimal sections of blue mesh on the toe box and the tongue. Minimal grey suede and grey leather hints appear around the collar area and a blue New Balance logo is spotted on the side panels. The other 1600 features sort of a reverse color scheme to the previously-mentioned 1600. It owns a primarily grey suede base with minimal blue hints. Both are finished with a white midsole, a black outsole and Abzorb technology. Available now at Mita. View more photos below. Vans OTW Bigelow Posted: 24 May 2010 10:58 AM PDT The fifth Vans OTW sneaker has been spotted, giving us further insight into the upcoming collection from the California sneaker company. The Bigelow is arguably the most detailed sneaker of the bunch, and is the first to offer a strap. The aforementioned strap appears on the forefoot and is draped in suede, as is the majority of the upper. Burgundy is used as the main color, and two areas on the upper are perforated in very different ways. The signature Vans stripe along the side uses square holes, while the ankle area uses those of the circular variety. Black patent leather is used for the heel and foxing areas. Expect more looks at this silhouette in the coming weeks.
