Air Jordan 6 Black/White Custom Posted: 26 Jul 2011 12:28 PM PDT Every custom has to be loaded with bright colors and crazy art, huh? Not exactly. Andy Oliver went against the grain with his first custom pair, which started life as Air Jordan 6 "Oreos." He kept things simple, opting to paint the leather portion of the upper a semi-glossy black, and allow its finish to contrast the suede areas throughout. It may not pop like the "South Beach" pair we saw recently, but who said that’s a bad thing? adidas Originals JS SLM Bowling Posted: 26 Jul 2011 12:13 PM PDT The adidas Originals Jeremy Scott lineup takes a detour from its normal route of plush stuffed animal tongues in today’s preview of the adidas Originals JS SLM Bowling. This slim, pointy-toed pair features a red lateral and blue medial side panel combination that is complimented with cream colored tongues that stretch down to the toe box and heel panel. A gum rubber outsoles is attached with accent tanned stitching, while the heel sports the number ’8′ in red. Perforations in the adidas three-strip pattern logo finish add a subtle finishing detail. Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement 2001, 2008 & 2011 Comparison Posted: 26 Jul 2011 10:58 AM PDT The Air Jordan 3 is set to drop in Black/Cement Grey dressing for the fifth time in its history this year, but if you ask most anybody, it's still not often enough. Naturally, seeing as the original shoe dropped over 20 years ago, a lot has changed since MJ sported them on the court, and even as recently as 10 years ago, when a Retro donned the Swoosh on its heel for one of the last times in Jordan Brand history. Check out this side-by-side-by-side comparison of the 2001, 2008 (CDP) and an early version of the 2011 release. adidas adiZero Ghost Detailed Images Posted: 26 Jul 2011 10:43 AM PDT Last week, we took a look at the brand new adidas adiZero Ghost in two new colorways. This updated performance based model takes on a similar look as the adidas Crazy Light with slight differences in the sole unit and ankle support. In addition to an updated an EVA molded midsole, this pair also makes use of TORSION technology and a lightweight SprintWeb based upper. These features ensure a lightweight yet flexible shoe for the most demanding on-court moves. In addition to getting an up-close-and-personal look at this new model today, three new colorways have also been unveiled. The Lead/Electricity colorway is a near identical colorway to the an adiZeroCrazyLight colorway that released earlier this year, while two simple black and white pairs round out the group.
