Posted: 22 Nov 2010 01:33 PM PST

Dunkman Feature

The Nike LeBron “Dunkman” series is arguably one of, if not the best, ongoing sneaker series today. Over the weekend, we received our first look at the “Dunkman” Nike LeBron 8. A few of you were happy to see this mockup, while others preferred many of the previous “Dunkman” LeBron shoes and rightfully so.

Our staff recently compiled a list of all of the Nike LeBron “Dunkman” sneakers that surfaced since James’ sneaker line began. In this feature, you will see some of the recent “Dunkman” releases, as well as some of the mockups that never released to the public. Take a look at our Going Green: History of Nike LeBron “Dunkman” Sneakers.

Date Released: July 2007

The Nike Zoom LeBron ST Low was the first “Dunkman” sneaker to ever release to the public. It first appeared at a Nike Designers Party during the 2007 NBA All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas. Months later, Nike released this sneaker. At the time, it was easily one of the more sought-after LeBron sneakers.

DMC-12 x Nike 6.0 “DeLorean Dunk”

DMC-12 x Nike 6.0 "DeLorean Dunk"

Over the summer the internet went nuts when patents came up suggesting a Nike Air Mag “McFly” release. The buzz builds once again with pictures of the DMC-12 x Nike 6.0 “DeLorean Dunk”. This collaboration Dunk with DeLorean takes design cues from the classic car famous from Back to the Future II. The upper is a nod to the car’s stainless steel finish, the seat belt inspires the tongue stamp, the eyestay pays tribute to the doors, and the outsole uses the blocking from the tail lights. This limited edition Dunk drops Black Friday as a quickstrike release at Nike.com, Nike Towns, and select retailers including Salvation in Irvine, CA. Will you be racing to get these?

Nike Hyperdunk 2010 Tyreke Evans PE

Posted: 22 Nov 2010 12:06 PM PST

Nike Hyperdunk 2010

Tyreke Evans is averaging nearly 20 points per game and has transferred his success from college to the pros almost seamlessly. Today, Nike has deservedly given the second year guard his very own PE. Today’s ‘Home’ PE contrasts nicely with the ‘Away’ PE we previewed last week with identical colors on different panels. The upper is mainly white on this pair with hints of black and Sacramento Kings purple on the midsole, laces, Swoosh, heel cup and ankle liner. Check out more photos below and let us know if this is something you would wear on the court.

Terrell Owens Debuts New Air Jordan 3 Cleat PE

Terrell Owens Debuts New Air Jordan 3 Cleat PE

Terrell Owens isn’t listed on the official Jordan Brand athlete roster, but he may as well be. The Bengals receiver has been sporting the Jumpman for years, whether he’s on the field or playing hoops in a celebrity basketball event. All year he’s worn one-off black Air Jordan 3 cleats on the field, but yesterday the outspoken wideout debuted a new colorway of his chosen silhouette. This shoe is far more orange than black and were it a regular sneaker, it would definitely turn heads. The team colors are also utilized on the elephant print on the toe and heel. If you could snag a pair of these at your local mall, would you?

Haroshi x Nike Dunk Detailed Images

A week ago we got a preview of the Haroshi x Nike Dunk. Today we see detailed images of the skateboard sculpted Dunk. Haroshi used old decks from members of Nike’s Skate Team and molded them onto a pair of his own worn Dunks. Hidden messages are worked into the sneaker sculpture including an x-ray revealing “Sole is Soul” phrase. What are your thoughts on the Haroshi x Nike Dunk? Tell us in the comment section.
