Air Jordan Fusion 4 Black/Cement Grey-Fire Red

Posted: 14 May 2009 10:31 AM PDT

Air Jordan Fusion 4 Black/Cement Grey-Fire Red

At the beginning of the year, we showed you multiple photos of what was supposed to be the official Air Jordan Fusion 4 “Bred” colorway. However, we are now finding out that the previous photos were only samples. With that said, check out the final version of the Air Jordan Fusion 4 Black/Cement Grey-Fire Red.

Reminiscent to the OG Air Jordan 4, this sneaker features a 100% black nubuck upper with minimal fire red accents throughout the base. The biggest difference from the sample to the finished product is the sole. As opposed to the leather wrapped midsole seen on the sample, this sneaker will now contain a translucent midsole and a red/grey outsole. JB also kept the infamous TPU wings first seen on the Air Jordan IV. The Air Jordan Fusion 4 “Bred” will hit retailers in mid-September, however, if you cannot wait until then, pick them up now at Marquee Sole for $179. Click here to view more photos.

Nike 1World Air Force 1 x Uslu Airlines

Posted: 14 May 2009 09:57 AM PDT

Nike 1World Air Force 1 x Uslu Airlines

We showed you this Nike 1World Air Force 1 x Uslu Airlines at the end of March, and a few of you stated that it was too plain to be a part of the Nike 1World Project. However, we have just found out that the previous photos were only samples. With that said, check out the final version of the latest Nike 1World Project. Do you still think its plain?

One of the more glaring additions on the final product is the stylish scarf tied onto the right shoe. The pink shoelaces are also an added detail to this shoe. As for the shoe as a whole,  this Nike 1World Project is inspired by an airplane. It contains a sheep lining in representation of the pilot seats in the cockpit. In addition, the neon yellow tongue stands for the security vests of airport workers, while the green logo tag represents the signal color of the tower on all airports. To continue the theme, this sneaker is complimented with pink shoelaces which symbolize cords of a parachute. Last but not least, the insole reflects the color spectrum of Uslu's brand. Available exclusively at Colette.

Thanks to Daily Drop, we have spotted the PF Flyer Bob Cousy All-American Low colorways at Zappos for $75.60.

Kicks On Court: Kenyon Switches Shoes in a ‘Blur’

Posted: 14 May 2009 07:32 AM PDT

Kicks On Court

Throughout the 2008-09 NBA season, our Kicks On Court has spotted one of the most underrated players in the NBA wearing one of the more overlooked Nike basketball sneakers. Denver Nuggets starting power forward Kenyon Martin has laced up the Nike Zoom Blur in 90% of his games this year. We say 90% because Martin did his best impression of Superman last night, at halftime, by switching his kicks up for the second half.

In the fifth and final game of the Dallas Mavericks-Denver Nuggets series, ‘K-Mart’ wore the aforementioned Nike Zoom Blur in the first half, yet he finished the game of in the Nike Shox Slam TB. The Zoom Blur contained white, sky blue and yellow on the base, while the Shox Slam TB only featured white and sky blue. Both shoes are average at best, especially when putting them against other 2008-09 Nike basketball releases such as the Hyperdunk, the Hypermax and the Blue Chip. Click here to view more kicks worn by Carmelo Anthony, Jason Kidd and others.

Nike Zoom Sharkley Paul Pierce PE Away

Yesterday, we gave you release date info about the Nike Zoom Sharkley Paul Pierce PE ‘Home’. Many of you stated that Pierce’s PE is one of the better colorways seen on this sneaker, however, check out Pierce’s Nike Zoom Sharkley PE ‘Away’.

Obviously, this shoe is basically a reverse color scheme of the ‘Home’ edition. It contains a primarily black patent leather upper with ‘Celtic’ green details as opposed to the white premium leather base seen on the ‘Home’ version. It also features the 'P2′ logo imprinted on the heel in white. Both pairs have dropped at House of Hoops already, and both Boston Footlockers will have them in stock on Friday, May 15th, 2009.
