Jordan L’Style Neutral Grey/Metallic Silver Posted: 18 Dec 2009 12:58 PM PST Obviously, sneaker lovers are looking for boots and/or boot-inspired sneakers during this time of the year. The Jordan L’Style is one of the shoes that received a lot of attention this fall/winter season. Following the black/voltage yellow pair we showed you in October, we now have spotted the Jordan L'Style Neutral Grey/Metallic Silver at select retailers including Kinetics. The metallic silver hints are only seen on the heel panel and throughout the midfoot in various places, while the majority of the base is smothered in neutral grey suede. Other features include an Air Jordan contrast stitching design on the side panels and a grey translucent sole. Is this the best Jordan L’Style colorway yet? Cadence x DVS Milan CTC Sneak Peek Posted: 18 Dec 2009 12:28 PM PST To develop the first cycling-specific skate shoe, DVS paired with bike maker Cadence to go to work on their Milan silhouette. The result was the Cadence x DVS Milan CTC (Classic Tribute Cycling). Set to debut in May 2010, these promise to be comfortable for biking, skating or just lounging. From what we can see in the picture, yellow is obviously the dominant color for the upper. Suede appears on the heel cup and tongue, while waxed laces in black are also used. Near the heel cup, we can see that perforated nubuck is also used. The tongue and heel both feature Cadence logos and name placement, while tabs on the heel of the white vulcanized sole read “Fast” and “Friday” from left to right, respectively. | Read the rest of Cadence x DVS Milan CTC Sneak Peek © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: DVS, DVS Milan |

Nike Dynasty High “Valentine’s Day” Pack Posted: 18 Dec 2009 11:28 AM PST Valentine’s Day is a time to show your love for those who are closest to you. Or its a corporate-invented holiday designed that forces you to waste money on useless items. Regardless of which outlook you have, this two-pack of Nike Dynasty Highs is sure to please. The first pair is slathered in teal patent leather all over, with the exception of the white leather panels on the toe and heel. Metallic silver goes to work on the Swoosh and on the “Nike” near the ankle. A black outsole matches up with the liner to finish them off. The second pair is done with red patent leather instead, and uses metallic gold as an accent. Both pairs also feature a small heart on the high ankle strap. These give you some options over the other Nike Valentine’s Day Pack we saw awhile back. | Read the rest of Nike Dynasty High “Valentine’s Day” Pack © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 2 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike, Nike Dynasty |
Jordan CP3.III Officially Unveiled Posted: 18 Dec 2009 10:58 AM PST A couple of weeks ago, we spotted New Orleans point guard Chris Paul debuting the Jordan CP3.III in our Kicks On Court. We now have official information on Chris Paul’s third signature sneaker. The Jordan CP3.III owns ground-breaking attributes to say the least. Jordan Brand incorporated an innovative technology called Podulon which has never been used in a performance basketball shoe. "We're constantly working to develop new technologies that complement Chris's advancement in the game of basketball," said Jason Mayden, Jordan Brand Senior Footwear Designer. "The performance elements incorporated in the JORDAN CP3.III will only enhance his explosive, agile and fast style of play." As for style elements, this shoe features a lot of details that are personal to Paul, his team and his family. For example, the overall design draws inspiration from a hornet because it’s New Orleans mascot and for its maneuverability in nature. In addition, this shoe includes a "Family Crest" graphic with details representing his mother, father, brother and late grandfather. "The Jordan CP3.III is my most comfortable basketball shoe yet. Not only does this shoe have incredible performance benefits, but I also love the way its design represents me and the people most important in my life," said Paul. The Jordan CP3.III will officially release January 2nd, 2009 for $118; however, a special edition Jordan CP3.III will release on December 26th, 2009 at select retailers for $118 also. Nike Zoom Hustle Tony Parker “French National Team” PE Posted: 18 Dec 2009 10:28 AM PST Tony Parker is one of the best foreign players in the history of the NBA, without a doubt. We got a look at his Zoom Hustles “Spurs” awhile back, and now we’re seeing his PEs for the French National Team. Even though the French flags uses red, white and blue, its hoops squad utilizes the same colors as this pair of Nikes. Blue perforated leather is along along the sides of the uppers, while matching solid leather is used on the toe, midfoot and tongue. The midsole is wrapped in black leather, matching the liner. The laces are also speckled with a mint green, matching the stitching on the upper and the Swoosh surround. These, along with the other pair of PEs, are available at House of Hoops locations now. | Read the rest of Nike Zoom Hustle Tony Parker “French National Team” PE © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 2 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike, Nike Zoom Hustle |
