Nike Zoom Kobe IV Black/Blue-White

Fresh off of the heels of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV “Draft Day” release, Nike unveils yet another exclusive Zoom Kobe IV colorway. Where does this colorway rank amongst the thousands of Kobe IV colorways we have seen this year?

It contains a primarily black upper with blue accents on the shoelaces, the flywire design, the border of the shoe, the front part of the sole and the ankle collar. The latter area also contains a red grid pattern, while the toe box and tongue possess a snakeskin texture similar to the “Carpe Diem”. There is no word yet on when this shoe will release, however, click here to view additional photos.

Air Jordan 6 Black/Infrared Retro

Obviously, we showed you a plethora of shoes to look out for during the rest of this year (see our 24 Sneakers We're Looking Forward to for the Rest of '09); however, could we be looking at the best sneaker release of 2010 without even seeing any of the other sneakers set to drop next year? That’s right folks! The Air Jordan 6 Black/Infrared will officially re-release in January 2010!

What makes this shoe so special you ask? If you recall, Michael Jordan won his first of six championships while wearing this particular sneaker. It is arguably one of the top 5 shoes ever according to many sneaker heads. Although this shoe originally released in 1991, it was retroed in the summer of 2000 to the surprise of many. Air Jordan 1 60+ Pack

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 10:26 AM PDT

Air Jordan 1 60+ PackMuch attention surrounded Michael Jordan when he entered into the NBA and throughout his rookie season, but in just his second year, MJ played in a way that even the game’s best thought was beyond human.

Michael Jordan was only able to play in 18 regular season games, but showed the world how ready he was to play in Game 2 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs. In the Boston Garden, MJ scored a playoff record 63 points against the eventual NBA Champs in a double-overtime loss. At the end of the game, Larry Bird described Jordan as “the most exciting, awesome player in the game today.” He later continued, “I think it’s just God disguised as Michael Jordan.”

Jordan Brand is celebrating the unbelievable game with the Air Jordan 1 60+ Pack. This package includes the Air Jordan 1 in the colorway Michael took to the court in his un-human game as well as another colorway inspired by the Boston Celtics. Beyond the colors of the shoes, Jordan Brand is celebrating this accomplishment inside and out with packaging inspired by the Boston Garden floor and special tagging inside the shoes that mark the date and number of points Jordan scored.

The Air Jordan 1 60+ Pack will release July 11th at Jordan Brand retailers for $225. Click here to see the pack in its entirety.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low “British Tan” Detailed Photos

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 10:26 AM PDT

Air Jordan 1

Jordan Brand has a couple of elephant print jewels coming up such as the Air Jordan Flight 45, the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” and the Jordan Spizike Black/Varsity Red-Cement Grey. Although the aforementioned sneakers are superb, is elephant print overused or do you want to see more sneakers equipped with elephant print? Better yet, what are your thoughts on this elephant print-happy Air Jordan 1 Phat Low “British Tan”?

It features a predominately ‘british tan’ elephant print base with dark brown accents in the form of the swoosh and shoelaces. The Jordan wings logo and the tongue are colored in white, while the inner lining possesses a brown and white print design. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a white midsole and brown outsole. No word yet on when this shoe will release, however, click here to view detailed photos.

Jordan CP3.III Samples

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:48 AM PDT

Jordan CP3.III Samples

Chris Paul is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the NBA. This past season, his CP3.II sneaker was one of the top performers amongst our basketball shoe Performance Reviews.

The Jordan CP3.III Samples appear to have a very similar midsole and outsole to the Zoom Kobe IV. As for the uppers, the first thought for many will most likely be either the original CP3, or perhaps the Jordan 22. Getting a look at the shoes this early, as many of you know, can be misleading. Only time will tell how the production models turn out come tip-off time in October.

Click here to see both colorways and let us know what you think of these.
