Nike Closer IV Manu Ginobili PE Posted: 05 Nov 2010 12:58 PM PDT Many players produce throughout the tenure of a game; however, only a few have the mindset, endurance and focus to compete and crunch time. Like him or not, Spurs guard Manu Ginobili has proven himself in the fourth quarter time after time. For that reason, Nike has designed a special PE for Ginobili dubbed the Nike Closer IV. The Closer IV is a lightweight, performance-based sneaker that features a mid-cut silhouette. Ginobili’s PE contains a mainly black base constructed of leather. Black patent leather hints appear on the toe and heel, while a silver-outlined, white swoosh provides a nice color compliment. Other features include a Nike Elite logo on the tongue, a visible Air sole unit in the sole and black laces. Posted: 05 Nov 2010 12:28 PM PDT With ‘Air Jordan Retro’ season right around the corner, it’s easy to be lose sight of the smaller releases. One of these releases is the Jordan V.2 Grown shown here today. As a member of the ‘lifestyle’ division of the brand, this pair has definitely won over the hearts of many with a great silhouette and subtle colorways. Today is no exception as we have arguably one of the best colorways of this sneaker. This pair is perfect for any occasion and definitely for the winter season, as it is uses a velvet dark brown tumbled leather throughout the upper. This compliments the charcoal grey detail on the side panel very well. A final use of yellow laces, an off-white sole, and an elephant print outsole design finishes this pair off in a classic yet very ‘Jordan-esque’ fashion. Check out more photos after the jump, and let us know how you feel about this shoe. Fragment Design x Nike Dunk Hi Posted: 05 Nov 2010 11:28 AM PDT Nike and Hiroshi Fujiwara's Fragment Design label have collaborated on a number of sneakers such as the Nike Air Zoom All Court Premium. Their latest joint efforts comes in the form of a series of Nike Dunk High colorways. This design is very different from the last collabs these two have produced in terms of silhouette and color schemes. Each Dunk contains a two-toned color scheme; one pair owns a scheme of pink and yellow, while the other two use white/navy and white/varsity red. It also seems as if the latter two are a mismatched pair done purposely although no information has been given on this assumption yet. Lastly, each one of these Dunks contain the Fragment Design logo on the heel area and is finished with a white sole. What are your preliminary thoughts on these Fragment Design x Nike Dunk Highs? View detailed photos below. Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Amar’e Stoudemire PE Posted: 05 Nov 2010 09:58 AM PDT Although New York Knicks power forward Amar’e Stoudemire has been wearing the Nike KD II this season, Nike Basketball has released photos of his exquisite Nike Zoom Hyperfuse PE. These Hyperfuse PEs are very similar to the pair Kevin Durant wore in our Kicks On Court this morning; yet, the blue and orange hints are lighter tones. In detail, the black Torch-laced upper contrast nicely with an orange swoosh and blue hints such as the outsole, tongue and inner lining. Is Amar’e Stoudemire’s Hyperfuses better than the pair Durant wore in last night’s game? View detailed photos below. atmos x Converse Jack Purcell Mid Melton Posted: 05 Nov 2010 09:28 AM PDT Japanese retailer atmos is no stranger to collaborations. However, to see the team produce such a subdued sneaker with this Converse Jack Purcell Mid Melton is a bit intriguing, as many past collaborations feature bright colors and unique materials. This shoe is still very easy on the eyes, thanks to its use of a black suede upper and white sole. The inside of the shoe is plaid and includes splashes of yellow, red and navy, among other hues. You can grab a pair on November 12th from atmos for about $170 USD. atmos x Converse Jack Purcell Mid Melton atmos x Converse Jack Purcell Mid Melton atmos x Converse Jack Purcell Mid Melton © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
