| Nike SB Dunk Low Premium “Yellow Curb” Posted: 15 Nov 2010 12:58 PM PST When we first showed you this Nike SB Dunk Low Premium “Yellow Curb”, many Nike SB heads loved it, while others did not particularly care for it. We now have images of the actual sneaker for those who love the creativity of the Nike SB releases. One of the more intriguing features on this shoe is the incorporation of elephant print. This texture is rarely used on Nike SB releases with the “Supreme” Nike SB Dunks being the most notable. Elephant print is smothered in embossed leather and appears on the toe area and heel panel; the latter area also contains a patent leather covering. The shoe’s overall makeup draws inspiration from the slippery curbs that skaters grind on. Other features include mesh on the toe box and grip tape on the side panels. | Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Russell Westbrook PE “Home” Posted: 15 Nov 2010 12:28 PM PST KD and the Oklahoma City Thunder are expected to do big things this season. And with last year serving as a springboard to notoriety for point guard Russell Westbrook, the Robin-to-Durant’s-Batman will likely be seen in a lot of special Nike products and colorways. This Nike Zoom Hyperfuse PE follows the “Away” shoe we’ve seen a number of times and was recently featured in Kicks on Court. White Hyperfuse provides a base against which the yellow liner, Photo Blue outsole and orange accents all contrast. Westbrook’s “Why Not?” logo is emblazoned on the collar padding and “KB3″ appears on the tongue in honor of his childhood friend, Khelcey Barrs. Look for him to continue sporting this shoe during games at the Oklahoma City Arena. The Kid’s Nikes still break necks of passers by and even non-OG colorways get scooped up as soon as they drop. Set to release in early 2011, this colorway of the classic Air Griffey Max 1 immediately became a favorite of many readers at our first look. Matte Sport Red and white come together on the upper, while a black strap and forefoot Swoosh highlight matching accents throughout. The Max Air bubbles on the sole are Metallic Silver, adding a fourth color to this Cincinnati Reds color-up. | Complex x EA Sports x Bun B NBA Jam Party Recap Posted: 15 Nov 2010 10:28 AM PST Last Friday, the Nice Kicks Shop in Austin, TX hosted the Complex x EA Sports x Bun B NBA Jam Party. The party was a hit as attendees got to play the new NBA JAM video game from EA Sports while enjoying free drinks, tacos from Torchy’s, and beats by DJ Protege. An overwhelming turnout came decked out in their favorite 90s era basketball kicks for a chance to game, say what up to Bun B, and see a gallery of vintage sneakers and hoop gear. | Kicks On Court: Gilbert Arenas Caught with Heat Again Posted: 15 Nov 2010 08:50 AM PST The Washington Wizards guard has been one of the big surprises in Kicks On Court this season. Before the gun incident, we would spot Arenas in adidas Gil Zero colorways among other adidas player exclusives. However, since the incident, Agent Zero has rocked multiple Air Jordans and Under Armour sneakers. Over the weekend, Arenas laced up two of the better sneakers in the Air Jordan line. Check out today’s Kicks On Court to see what Gilbert wore. On Friday night, Gilbert Arenas laced up the ever-so-popular “Taxi” Air Jordan 12 in a losing effort against the Charlotte Bobcats. This classic sneaker last released in 2008 via the Air Jordan 11/12 Countdown Pack. The next night, Arenas scored 30 points and grabbed six rebounds while wearing the “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 in a losing efforts against the Chicago Bulls.
