Air Jordan XIV “MJ Motorsports” Posted: 04 Nov 2009 12:58 PM PST After seeing yesterday’s in-depth look at the Air Jordan 6 Rings “MJ Motorsports,” and the AJ6 Retro “MJ Motorsports” just before that, it’s no surprise that demand for more information is at its peak. And with that being said, we present you with this Air Jordan XIV “MJ Motorsports” Unreleased Sample. If these were to ever release, they would definitely make our “All Black Everything” Buyer’s Guide from yesterday, as they’re draped in black suede and sit on an all black mid- and outsole. Overall, these are very similar to a black upper version of the AJXIV Light, thanks to the material choice. On the inner side we can really see what makes these “Motorsports” PEs, as the circled 23 and Jumpman logos appear. If you recall from the above post on the 6s and 6 Rings, these circular logos are modeled after te number plate and logos on the team motorcycles. Nike Trainer 1 “New York” Posted: 04 Nov 2009 11:58 AM PST A game away from yet another World Series championship, the Yankees are one of the most successful franchises ever, in any sport. And to pay tribute to their success, past and present, Nike has put together this Trainer 1, which will be available this month. Using a mixture of navy blue nubuck and white leather on the upper, these are a perfect match for your Yankees fitted. Like with any sneaker, the “good is in the details,” as these feature inspired insoles, tongue labels and even heel panels. On the tongue labels, pinstripes are used, as with the insoles, where the retired jersey numbers of Yankees greats are also seen. The heel panels, where the Trainer 1 usually reads “Nike,” instead reads “New” and “York” on separate shoes. Converse Wade 1.0 Vulcanized Posted: 04 Nov 2009 10:58 AM PST Nike got the sports sole-turned-vulcanized movement moving with its AC series, and it looks like little brother Converse was on the same track when they whipped up these Wade 1.0 samples. Donning a greyscale colorway, these sit on a white vulcanized sole. Red is used as an accent throughout, appearing on the liner and the slats in between color panels along the side and for contrast stitching. Wade’s Converse logo appears on the tongues, which are mismatched at this point in the design process. This is probably yet another sample that is dead in the water, but would you grab some if they ever made it to production? Head to the comments section and let us know. | Read the rest of Converse Wade 1.0 Vulcanized © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 9 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Converse |
Mita x Lakai Staple OG Posted: 04 Nov 2009 10:28 AM PST A couple of weeks ago, we showed you the "Where The Wilds Things Are" x Lakai Collection, and the majority of you did not take a liking towards it. However, Lakai has now hooked up with Mita to design two new colorways of the Staple OG model. Both pairs come in a predominately black leather base with areas of suede appearing on the toe, midfoot and heel area. The pair shown to the right also features purple and yellow accents, while the remaining pair owns a gucci-like color scheme in regards to its red and green details. Both are now available at Mita’s online store. Nike Blue Chip II Jermaine O’Neal & Caron Butler PEs Posted: 04 Nov 2009 09:58 AM PST With all the hype behind the Air Max LeBron VII and the Team Bank editions of the Zoom Soldier III and Zoom Kobe IV, the Nike Blue Chip II has gone overlooked. But for this upcoming season, Miami Heat Jermaine O’Neal and Washington Wizard Caron Butler will be sporting their own PEs. Caron’s uses a mix of black and white leather, while blue is used as an accent along the midsole and also on the laces and Swoosh, which uses the Wizards’ gold for an outline. Jermaine’s BCII gets bright red patent leather around the bottom, with black leather near the laces. A white Swoosh and midsole accent complete the Heat colorway. Click here to check out both players’ PEs in detail and keep an eye on Kicks On Court to see these in action. | Read the rest of Nike Blue Chip II Jermaine O’Neal & Caron Butler PEs © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 5 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike, Nike Basketball, Nike Blue Chip II |
