| In Retrospect: Nike Air Force 1 WBF Collection Posted: 09 Aug 2011 01:18 PM PDT Nike released the Air Force 1 WBF Collection just two weeks after the Nike Air Force 1 “BE” Pack. To coincide with the first ever World Basketball Festival, Nike created this special collection, which honored the five countries participating: USA, France, China, Puerto Rico and Brazil. Each Air Force 1 will featured a solid color premium leather upper with the represented country's flag on the tongue. Special edition packaging was designed for each pair, showing the country’s slogan for its respective basketball team. In addition to the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 “Think Pink” we’ve recently been spotting on the court, we’ve also spotted the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Think Pink” colorway today. This annual colorway is just as you would imagine it, sporting an all-pink snakeskin upper that is complimented with white and silver accents on the sole unit, heel cup and branding. Light Graphite is offset by minimal Midnight Navy detailing on the laceholes and midsole, while black and white hints further add to its highly contrasting style. | Posted: 09 Aug 2011 12:04 PM PDT Following our teaser photo of the Nike LeBron 8 “Denim” we disclosed yeseterday, we now have a full length image of this particular colorway in its final form. This pair, which was created by DJ Clark Kent, sports a similar makeup as the Nike Air Force 1 Denim/Bronze, sporting a dark indigo denim material throughout the majority of the upper. Gold accents can also be seen on the lace eyelets and contrast stitching, which matches well with the gum outsole. This pair is finally finished off with black accents on the Swoosh as well as the piping for a nice overall look. No announcement has been made yet on whether or not this particular pair will see production. For now, check out these detailed images and let us know what you think. Its combination of a loud, head-turning color scheme and a low top formation will undoubtedly make this shoe a hot seller. In detail, Nike combined its two darling technologies, Flywire and Fuse, in a bright Solar Red scheme for the majority of the upper. | Posted: 09 Aug 2011 11:16 AM PDT Yesterday, we unveiled the new Kenny Anderson signature shoe, the Converse KA-One, in three colorways. Next up is a close-up look at this upcoming colorway, set to the backdrop of the 2011 Converse Coastal Carnage bowl. Grey suede is used for the upper, while black leather branding teams with the cushioned tongue for contrast. A white sole, borrowed from the Classic Trainer '76, provides comfortable cushioning. This one drops very soon, as do a number of sick other colorways, at skate shops soon. | Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement New Images Posted: 09 Aug 2011 10:35 AM PDT New images of the highly anticipated Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement have surfaced today. With slightly less hype than the Air Jordan 11 “Concord”, this pair is still considered one of the biggest releases of the year. As most sneakerheads probably know by now, this pair stays true to its “og” blueprint, sporting a black tumbled leather upper with elephant print accents on the toe box and heel cup. Grey accents can also be seen on the tongue, ankle collar and around the lace eyelets. This pair is finally finished off with red accent branding as well as a red tongue liner.
