Nike Air Force 1 Black/White-Purple

Posted: 16 Nov 2009 12:58 PM PST

Nike Air Force 1

Lately, we have seen some Air Force 1’s that are hard to get your hands on (see UNDFTD x LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Force 1 Supreme) or impossible touch at all (see Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 "Space Jam" Designed by Bun B). On the contrary, Nike has now unleashed a general release Air Force 1 at select retailers including Mita.

This particular Air Force 1 contains a simple, subtle color design to say the least; however, its purple accents (shoelaces, heel tab, Nike tongue logo) give this shoe a nice, contrasting color scheme. The predominance of the upper is covered in black leather with additional white details throughout the base. Is this Air Force 1 perfect for you during the fall/winter season? Click here to view detailed photos.

STPL x Airwalk Terrain Hi Skate Star Trek Collection

The jeffstaple x Airwalk releases have been a controversial issue with many ‘heads. Some viewed Staple’s low-priced work with Airwalk as an awesome step forward for affordable collections, while others were dismayed at him “tarnishing” his reputation. Though the price of his past work was recently dropped to a mere $10, the two have paired up again for this three-pair release of Airwalk Terrain Hi Skates.

Payless currently has these available online. Three pairs are available in “Starfleet” colorways, including burgundy, saffron and sapphire. All three are treated to suede uppers in the above colors, with either a black or white midsole. Starfleet logos appear both on the heel, tongue and the debrays. This pack was put together for the release of the Star Trek DVD tomorrow, November 17th.

Terence Koh x Converse 1HUND(RED) Chuck Taylor

Posted: 16 Nov 2009 11:58 AM PST

Converse Chuck Taylor

Converse continues its ongoing 1HUND(RED) campaign by now hooking up with designer Terence Koh for a very unique collaboration.

It’s obvious that both sides wanted to keep this design very simple to say the least. "I wanted to keep the DNA of the Chuck Taylor intact, while reducing the seams, and smoothing out the shoe's surface as much as possible,” said Koh.

This Chuck Taylor possesses some very unique features including a seamless upper and a vertical construction which gives the sneaker a square-like shape at the collar area. Its all-white leather base is accompanied by matching premium leather shoelaces. Look for this sneaker to release on November 21st, 2009 at select retailers, namely Opening Ceremony New York and LA for $150. Click here to view detailed photos.

New Balance Japan A03

New Balance Japan A03

This new silhouette from New Balance Japan blends boot and shoe to make an all-weather silhouette that’s protective like a rain boot and loud like, well, a Japan-exclusive sneaker. Mixing materials, both A03 models use suede on the toes and nylon for the remainder of the upper.

Black is used for the base of the first pair while bright pink jumps off the toes to accent these and grab the attention of any passer-by. This pair sits on a grey midsole and black outsole. The other pair uses shades of brown, both dark and tan, sitting on a dark brown outsole and off-white midsole. Both are also lined with fur to keep their wearers’ feet warm.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII White/Black-Gold

Posted: 16 Nov 2009 10:58 AM PST

Nike Air Max LeBron VII

The Nike Air Max LeBron VII continues to garner an abundance of attention to say the least. Photos of a New York Yankees inspired LeBron VII surfaced and the “Red Carpet” LeBron VII released at select House of Hoops across the nation. However, we have spotted a new LeBron VII colorway fresh off of the heels of the “Red Carpet” release.

After seeing the woven side panels featured on the “Red Carpet” LeBron VII’s, Nike goes back to the flywire design for this particular pair. As for the color scheme, this shoe owns a predominately black-colored base combined with gold accents in the form of the swoosh border, the top laceholders and the various LeBron logos throughout the base. In addition, the bottom half of the shoe is done up in white leahter. No word on when this shoe will release; meanwhile, click here to view additional photos. What are your thoughts on this new LeBron VII colorway?

Concepts x New Balance “Freedom Trail” Collection

Concepts x New Balance "Freedom Trail" Collection

Thanksgiving is a time to sit down with family and give thanks for the blessings we’ve received, enjoying the moments we get with those we love. Black Friday is for ruthlessly pushing over fellow shoppers to get the last hot item on sale at the mall. While we don’t endorse the latter, this Concepts x New Balance collection may very well result in such melee.

The New Balance 1500 and 875 boot will both be available in this collection for the 27th, draped in full-grain brown leather. This 875 boot is the first time we’ve ever seen this silhouette, while the 1500 is a classic runner. The 1500 features an embossed tongue tag and pigskin leather lining for added breathability. The 875 boot uses the same features, and features a molded EVA sole and Rollbar technology. The colorway and material choices stem from the brick-lined streets of Boston’s North-end neighborhood, a landmark in American history.

Nike Tennis Classic

In mid-October, we gave you a preview of a Nike Air Zoom Tennis Classic that featured a mixture of black and yellow on the base. In a similar manner, we now spotted a Tennis Classic that features a reverse-like color scheme of the aforementioned Tennis Classic.
