Take a look at the newly-surfaced Supra Skytop “Liberty”. To coincide with our nation’s birthday, Supra incorporated a predominately blue colored base with a white star design on the heel. The latter area also owns a red and white striped design to further connect with the USA flag. Only 413 sequentially numbered pairs will be on Saturday, July 2. Check out location information below. This third evolution of the Hyperdunk is equipped with some of the most up-to-date features in performance basketball. Flywire technology is seamlessly blended in a mesh composite upper to create a lighter shoe while a new 3-D shaped, glass reinforced composite midfoot shank adds torsional rigidity and responsiveness. Following day 1 of this annual event, Jordan Brand has posted images for all to see. Ray Allen showed up at the tournament and also at the local House of Hoops to sign autographs and field a few questions. | “Penny Hardaway” Nike Air Force 1 New Images Posted: 27 Jun 2011 10:49 AM PDT At the end of last week, a Penny Hardaway inspired Nike Air Force 1 was revealed from his personal Twitter page, along with a new Penny Hardaway hybrid dubbed the Nike Zoom Rookie. We have now spotted extremely detailed photos of this upcoming themed Air Force 1. These new photos show the many Penny Hardaway themed attributes on this Air Force 1 such as the 1/2 Cent logo on the heel tab, the outsole and the Penny Hardaway script on the tongue. The previously mentioned area also features a black and silver pinstripe-esque design reminiscent of the Orlando Magic jerseys. Additionally, the Swoosh features the lighting streak-like design that was first spotted on the Nike Air Max Penny I. Other features include a translucent outsole and white tumbled leather on the midfoot, toe area and heel panel. No word on when this shoe will release; however, stay tuned for release information. | Posted: 27 Jun 2011 09:58 AM PDT DFW residents should still be basking in the sun thanks to the Dallas Mavericks championship victory; however, Kixpo 2011 will offer a different approach to celebration for sneakerheads at the end of this week. The annual Kixpo event, which consistently corrals all of the DFW sneaker enthusiasts, will take place this Saturday, July 2, from 4PM-10PM. This year, the Kixpo event will be held in the prestigious Cowboys Stadium, the the fourth largest stadium in the NFL by seating capacity.
