| Release Reminder: Nike Air Yeezy Net/Net Posted: 05 Jun 2009 11:59 PM PDT  The final chapter in the Nike Air Yeezy will be written tomorrow with the official release of the third and final installment in the Yeezy run. It took more than a year to reach this point since Kanye West stepped onto the stage of the Grammy’s in February 2008 wearing the mysterious shoe. While many people may have their personal favorites of the shoe, the Net/Net Nike Air Yeezy has a few standout characteristics that separates it from the other two in the series. This colorway of the Air Yeezy was the only colorway that was worn by Kanye West prior to the release campaign that began in April, 2009. This color frequently made it to the feet of Ye while he was busy on the Glow In The Dark Tour. Fitting for the name, the shoe not only features the signatory glow-in-the-dark sole, but the Swoosh on the side of the shoe lights up the night as well. Currently, lineups are deep everywhere nationwide and many shops are even holding auctions for the shoe due to their high demand. As Kobe and the “LAKESHOW” make their way to victory lane (yes, sad for some of us, but true) as the NBA Champions this season, Nike has created a special makeup of the Zoom Kobe IV for the series against the Magic. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV Finals Edition will be the last version of the Kobe IV. Special inspirations from the season have been added to commemorate Kobe’s accomplishment. Gold accents representing the quest for the NBA Championship trophy. Concord is used to provide energy to a colorway that traditionally features varsity purple. Graphics on the collar and vamp feature milestones and amazing stats that helped Kobe reach the Finals. | Vans June 2009 Releases Posted: 05 Jun 2009 01:40 PM PDT  This month a number of releases will hit retailers, including two colorways of the Half Cab Pro and a makeup of the TNT II Mid. The Vans Half Cab Pro drops in a grey and black colorway with red accents, and an additional colorway with olive/brown mix. The Vans TNT II Mid drops in a black makeup with Anti Hero tagged on the heel area. Suede is the primary material of choice, and of course the classic Vans vulcanized sole. Available now at HUF.
