Nike Air PR1 OG Air Pressure White/Grey

Posted: 31 Dec 2010 10:08 AM PST

Nike Air PR1 OG Air Pressure White/Grey
Nike dropped-off some classic retro sneakers in the last days of 2010, including the Nike Air PR1 OG Air Pressure in White/Grey colorway. As 2011 arrives, you may sport the new year with this retro kick or include this in your collection. We take some words from our source for more info of the kick:

"Finishing off the year strong Nike has decided to reincarnate the Nike Air PR1 Air Pressure, the super duper in demand retro was spruced up a bit. Nike designers added features that were not seen on the original, such as the Air Jordan III sole and darker shades which are not comparable to the original. The out crying demand from sneakerheads worldwide has allowed this shoe to resurface in limited quantities. Unlike its original counterpart the retro is cut lower and designed for a more lifestyle approach rather than a useful basketball shoe."

Check the following images to see more angle of the kick. You can grab this sneaker at Osneaker. $250.

But like with any bring-back, subtle changes appear throughout these Christmastime kicks. To give you a closer look, we put the 2000 and 2010 versions side by side. Can you point out all the differences?

Jordan CP3.IV

Jordan Brand will bring in the new year with a signature sneaker release for New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul. Tomorrow, January 1, 2011, the Jordan CP3.IV Black/White-Metallic Silver will hit retailers for $118. The Jason Mayden-designed model features Jordan Brand’s newly-developed Podulon technology for extreme comfort/responsiveness and contains personal/family-oriented attributes such as the star graphic on the sockliner (it represents CP's characteristics of quickness, heart, faith, family, leadership and community). Nike Air Max 2011 Black/Red & Black/Electric Green

Posted: 31 Dec 2010 11:13 AM PST

Nike Air Max 2011

As always, with a new year comes a new installment of Nike’s Air Max series. In February, Nike will be introducing the Nike Air Max 2011 in two colorways: Black/Red and Black/Electric Green. Nike incorporated the newly-developed Fuse technology in this shoe as opposed to Flywire seen on the Nike Air Max 2010 and Nike Air Max 2009. This comes as no surprise, as Fuse will definitely have a great impact in 2011. In addition to the Fuse-laced upper, the Nike Air Max 2011 also contains a full-length Air bag which matches the color of the inner lining. As stated earlier, these Nike Air Max 2011 colorways will hit retailers in February.

Kicks On Court: Arenas Breaks Out Fila Grant Hill

Posted: 31 Dec 2010 10:34 AM PST

Kicks On Court

Gilbert Arenas continues his wide array of sneaker selections during the 2010-2011 NBA season. Usually, our Kicks On Court sees him wearing a rare Air Jordan or a classic Nike Basketball retro; yet, in last night’s game against the New York Knicks, Arenas once again shocked us with his kicks.

Arenas scored 10 points and dished out six assists while wearing the vintage Fila Grant Hill. Fila assigned this signature model to Grant Hill during the 1994-95 NBA season, his rookie year. Fila also created a very then-popular commercial with the release of this shoe called the “Rookie Journal”. Although many would agree that the Fila Ninety6 was Hill’s most popular shoe, this Fila Grant Hill was well-received too. Who else is entertained by Arenas’ ongoing sneaker selections? View these kicks plus more, worn by Dwight Howard, Amar’e Stoudemire, Jameer Nelson and others, below.

All-Rookie Team: Top 18 New Models of 2010

Cool Greys caused campouts, collabs killed, but it was new models that changed the game in 2010. The past year saw more competition among brands with the emergence of new challengers and company revivals. Technology pushed performance making sneakerheads consider cushioning over colorway for the first time in ages. Was 2010 the sign of a new golden era? A change of the guard? We think so, but decide for yourself by looking at our top 18 new silhouettes of the past year.

**Note** This list only includes sneaker MODELS that were new to 2010. All retro product and new colorways were disregarded.

Nike Dunk Low "Icons" Grey/White

The Nike Dunk is a true icon among sneakers and Nike has put a lot of effort in to paying homage to the classic model with the “Icons” series. This Low just surfaced overseas, but should make its way stateside soon. Grey and white come together in simply-color blocked fashion, with embossed leather appearing on the foxing. Nice and simple, this particular shoe is very wearable with most any outfit.

adidas Kobe II “Flag”

Posted: 30 Dec 2010 04:28 PM PST

adidas Kobe II "Flag"

Designed to honor the victims of 9/11 this special edition adidas Kobe II has only been seen on the court of two players. Kobe wore this shoe when still an adidas athlete in 2001 and LeBron (who was in high school at the time) also got his hands on the very limited PE. This rare shoe is one of only a handful and a surefire way to prove your sneaker collection is no joke. If you’ve got the desire and cash to pick up a pair, one has surfaced on eBay and is available now.

Jordan Classic ’82 Black/White

Posted: 30 Dec 2010 03:58 PM PST

Jordan Classic '82

Just two weeks after learning about the theft of 4,000+ Jordan Classic ’90s, we now take our first look at the upcoming Jordan Classic ’82. The significance of this shoe is not known at this time, however, we do know that MJ finished his freshman year in college during 1982. The Jordan Classic ’82 is similar to a lot of Jordan Brand’s lifestyle makeups such as the V.2 Grown and the L’Style II. Its casual, subtle form is dressed in black leather and features an Air heel unit of the same color. Also, minimal white hints show up in the form of the midsole, Jumpman tongue logo and the ‘C82′ logo on the heel. View detailed photos below.
