| Air Jordan 6 Black/Infrared Retro Posted: 30 Jun 2009 10:50 AM PDT Obviously, we showed you a plethora of shoes to look out for during the rest of this year (see our 24 Sneakers We're Looking Forward to for the Rest of '09); however, could we be looking at the best sneaker release of 2010 without even seeing any of the other sneakers set to drop next year? That’s right folks! The Air Jordan 6 Black/Infrared will officially re-release in January 2010! What makes this shoe so special you ask? If you recall, Michael Jordan won his first of six championships while wearing this particular sneaker. It is arguably one of the top 5 shoes ever according to many sneaker heads. Although this shoe originally released in 1991, it was retroed in the summer of 2000 to the surprise of many. Fast forwarding to the future, Jordan Brand will release this Air Jordan 6 Black/Infrared Retro in January for $150. Click here to view detailed photos. Michael Jordan was only able to play in 18 regular season games, but showed the world how ready he was to play in Game 2 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs. In the Boston Garden, MJ scored a playoff record 63 points against the eventual NBA Champs in a double-overtime loss. At the end of the game, Larry Bird described Jordan as “the most exciting, awesome player in the game today.” He later continued, “I think it’s just God disguised as Michael Jordan.” Jordan Brand is celebrating the unbelievable game with the Air Jordan 1 60+ Pack. This package includes the Air Jordan 1 in the colorway Michael took to the court in his un-human game as well as another colorway inspired by the Boston Celtics. Beyond the colors of the shoes, Jordan Brand is celebrating this accomplishment inside and out with packaging inspired by the Boston Garden floor and special tagging inside the shoes that mark the date and number of points Jordan scored. The Air Jordan 1 60+ Pack will release July 11th at Jordan Brand retailers for $225. Although the aforementioned sneakers are superb, is elephant print overused or do you want to see more sneakers equipped with elephant print? Better yet, what are your thoughts on this elephant print-happy Air Jordan 1 Phat Low “British Tan”? It features a predominately ‘british tan’ elephant print base with dark brown accents in the form of the swoosh and shoelaces. The Jordan wings logo and the tongue are colored in white, while the inner lining possesses a brown and white print design. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a white midsole and brown outsole. No word yet on when this shoe will release, however, click here to view detailed photos. This past season, his CP3.II sneaker was one of the top performers amongst our basketball shoe Performance Reviews. The Jordan CP3.III Samples appear to have a very similar midsole and outsole to the Zoom Kobe IV. As for the uppers, the first thought for many will most likely be either the original CP3, or perhaps the Jordan 22. Getting a look at the shoes this early, as many of you know, can be misleading. Only time will tell how the production models turn out come tip-off time in October. | Jordan 60+ GS Black/Varsity Red-White Posted: 29 Jun 2009 01:00 PM PDT Last week, we showed you the updated Air Jordan 7 60+ Pack, and many of you stated that it was a definite purchase for you. Continuing the ongoing 60+ theme, Jordan Brand will also release this Jordan 60+ model later this year. However, JB will only release it in grade sizes. The Jordan 60+’s makeup owns features from all of the shoes Jordan played in while scoring 60 or more points: the Air Jordan I, the Air Jordan II, the Air Jordan V and the Air Jordan VII. As for the colorway, it features a predominately black nubuck base with sections of textured leather on the side panels and toe area. Minimal varsity red accents appear on the sole and tongue. To finish it off, this Jordan 60+ contains a white midsole. Jordan Brand continues to use it as a platform for creative expression. Thankfully, for those of us not interested in the “creative” makeups, there are a number of simple colorways coming out like this Black Ostrich colorway. The Air Jordan 1 Black Ostrich is done up in a nice mix of materials, including ballistic nylon, smooth leather and ostrich-skin like leather. Only a hint of charcoal grey finds its way onto the Jumpman logo on the tongue, otherwise, the uppers consist of en entirely black coloring. These are available now at RMK. Recently we have seen him sport the TK Society and at last year’s Video Music Awards he laced up three different Supra Skytop colorways. At the BET Awards last night, Lil Wayne surprised many (even Supra) by pulling out thisbedazzled pair of Supra Skytops. This particular Skytop features a 100% silver glitter application on the base mixed with a white vulcanized rubber sole. The left shoe contains the letters ‘CLV‘ on the tongue, while the right shoe possesses the number ‘26‘ on the tongue. According to Complex, Supra did not send this shoe to Lil Wayne; however, if this shoe were to release would you purchase these Supra Skytop? | Read the rest of Lil Wayne Dazzles the Crowd in the Supra Skytop © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 30 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Lil Wayne, Supra, Supra Skytop | | Kanye West for Louis Vuitton Detailed Look Posted: 29 Jun 2009 10:39 AM PDT | | Reebok Pump “Perfectly” Collection Posted: 29 Jun 2009 10:08 AM PDT Out of all the upcoming Reebok releases, the Seven Deadly Sins Pack has been receiving the most attention. While that pack is obviously one of the more colorful lineups for Reebok this year, we have now spotted an upcoming, all-white Reebok Pump “Perfectly” Collection. This lineup consists of three, classic Reebok models: the Pump Omni Lite, the Court Victory 2 and the Insta Pump Fury. All three models possess a 100% white leather upper; however, the Pump Omni Lite and the Court Victory 2 both contain a dark grey outsole, while the Insta Pump Fury owns an off-white sole. One of the more interesting features is the triangle perforated design seen on the toe box and side panels. Supposedly, this feature is inspired by ancient chinese windows. Available now at Atmos.
