Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III King City Classic PE

Posted: 21 Aug 2009 10:24 AM PDT

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III

Thankfully, we did not WITNESS a plethora of Zoom LeBron Soldier III colorways as opposed to the numerous Zoom LeBron VI styles. However, a Zoom LeBron Soldier III player exclusive revealed itself at LeBron James’s King City Classic in Akron, Ohio last month. We now have a close-up photo of this unique, multi-colored PE.

Obviously, this particular shoe was given to the members who played in James’s Skills Academy. The color makeup is comprised of black/varsity red-gold while owning sections of white on the midsole. As for the texture, this sneaker contains leather in the midfoot section that is surrounded by a patent leather strip. At this time, there is no word on whether or not this Soldier III will release, however, would you purchase it if it dropped?

Nike Blue Chip II “Think Pink” Lisa Leslie PE

Posted: 21 Aug 2009 09:57 AM PDT

Nike Blue Chip II

Although other Nike basketball shoes such as the Hyperize and the Hypermax seem to be receiving the most attention, other basketball sneakers are beginning to make their presence felt. With that said, many people have been awaiting clearer photos of the Nike Blue Chip II.

This particular Blue Chip II was made specifically for Lisa Leslie in honor of the yearly “Think Pink” campaign. If you recall, Nike paid tribute to the aforementioned campaign last year in the form of the Nike Hyperdunk “Think Pink”. Lisa Leslie’s Blue Chip II obviously owns a predominately purple/yellow colorway seeing that she is still a member of the Los Angeles Sparks; however, pink accents are noticeable on the border of the swoosh, the collar and on the Kay Yow Cancer Fund logo which is located on the heel panel. Click here to view additional photos. What are your thoughts on this sneaker?

In the same manner, Reebok has just released another “Perfectly” collection using the same three models. This time, each shoe is smothered in grey leather. Nike Air Royal Mid Metallic

Posted: 20 Aug 2009 12:13 PM PDT

Nike Air Royal

Many of you were pleased with the Air Royal’s simplicity as evident with previous colorways such as the White/Metallic Gold and the Metallic Silver. It now seems Nike is going in the opposite direction with the Air Royal model by applying a multi-colored scheme to its base. This shoe is definitely not for everybody; wouldn’t you agree?

This model is so simplistic that it doesn’t even have a leather swoosh! The colors, on the other hand, are anything but simple. It features an extensive range of colors including blue, black, silver, yellow, red and white. The latter color is also noticeable on the sole and the shoelaces. Although this a big difference from the previous basic Air Royal colorways, Nike still equipped this Air Royal with a 100% metallic base. Although this shoe is simple and sleek, it may be too loud for many. It is scheduled to release soon; meanwhile, click here to view additional photos.

Puma Mid Full Bubble

Lately, we have noticed Puma ‘Bring Back’ (literally) the Clyde model in a number of colorways including the “Raps” and “Africa” limited edition lineups. However, photos of an exclusive style of the Puma Mid has now surfaced on the web.

Similar to the newly-designed Nike Air Max LeBron VII we are all so familiar with right now, this particular sneaker contains a full-length bubble around the entire base. Yet, its colorway sets this shoe apart from many others. The bubble itself is colored in neon green, while the predominance of the base is done up in navy blue. Sky blue accents also appear throughout the upper as well. No word yet on when this shoe will release, yet, click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Air Trainer SC “Total Orange”

Posted: 19 Aug 2009 12:43 PM PDT

Nike Air Trainer SC Total OrangeWhile many of you might be saying that Jordan Brand has been opening up the vault and giving out the goodies with upcoming shoes including the Space Jams, Flu Games, and the Infrareds, Nike Training has been letting out quite a bit of great sneakers as well.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the famous BO KNOWS campaign as well as the introduction of the Nike Trainer 1.  Creating some energy for the new product as well as celebrating the history of shoes, Nike has brought out many of the great sneakers Bo Jackson trained in including the Nike Air Trainer 1, Nike Air Trainer II, Nike Air Trainer III, and now the Nike Air Trainer SC.  This original colorway debuted way back when in 1989 and ties back to Bo’s alma mater of Auburn University.

The Nike Air Trainer SC “Total Orange” is available now at select retailers including Proper in Long Beach, CA with a suggested retail price of $105.  Still no word about the Nike Air Trainer SC II…

Air Jordan 2 + Air Jordan 3 Slam Dunk Pack

Posted: 19 Aug 2009 07:27 AM PDT

Air Jordan 2 Air Jordan 3 Slam Dunk PackRumors about upcoming retro Air Jordans is nothing new, but neither is the rumor of a “Slam Dunk Pack”.  Dating back to 2008 there were rumors that there would not be a Jordan 8/15 CDP since the two were both retroed only months before in the final months of 2007.  The idea was simple, but sounded so great to collectors.  A DMP consisting of the two shoes that Michael Jordan wore while winning his two Slam Dunk Contests - Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 3.

In Seattle for the 1987 Dunk Contest Michael Jordan wore the White/Black-Red Air Jordan II.  The following year, Michael Jordan wore the White/Black-Cement Air Jordan IIIs when he faced off against Dominique Wilkins in the finals.  On the final dunk Dominique scored a 45 leaving a little bit of room for MJ to take the title.  Sure enough, in amazing form, Michael Jordan did it with a 50 beating Wilkins and taking back to back Slam Dunk titles.

Back to the sneakers, this latest rumor started on a Korean sneaker blog.  We have yet to confirm from any of our credible Jordan sources whether or not this is true, but we do know that Jordan Brand has many great things planned for the 25th anniversary in 2010.  Hypothetically, if there was a Slam Dunk Pack to come out with a $310 would you purchase or pass?

Nike Air Force 1 x Futura Nike and Futura have come together for yet another project waiting just over the holiday horizon. The Nike Air Force 1 x Futura “True” Pack will release in January of 2010 and is comprised of two versions of both the Air Force 1 Hi and Low. Translucent outsoles are utilized on all four colorways of this pack and each of them preserves “TRUE” in Futura’s iconic penmanship. Other notable facets of these forces include the pixilated tongue tags and insoles as well as the gradient pattern fading from the heel to the mid panel.

Nike Hyperize Team Colorways

Posted: 18 Aug 2009 03:41 PM PDT

Nike Hyperize Team ColorwaysNike gave us all a little taste of the Nike Hyperize when the shoe debuted in the US with the launch of the White Men Can’t Jump pack last month.  Since we have learned not to criticize, but rather Hyperize in a new ad campaign by Nike and Foot Locker.  It should be no surprise that Nike is rolling out their latest and greatest in the basketball category in a number of colorways including those in the team bank.

Six new colorways of the Nike Hyperize were just posted online at Nike Store, but if this shoe is going to receive the same treatment as the Hyperdunk, we can expect to see many more colorups soon.
