adidas Originals LQC Trainer "Citrus" Pack

If you recall, adidas debuted the LQC Trainer in stores towards the latter part of April. Two months later, we see adidas dropping another LQC Trainer release. This multi-sneaker lineup, dubbed the “Citrus” Pack, sees the adidas EQT inspired shoe in bright, vibrant color schemes. Both pairs feature a mainly grey base; yet, one is complimented with neon green hints, while the other pair uses bright mango accents. Look for the adidas Originals LQC “Citrus” Pack to hit retailers soon at $90 apiece.

Dave White Announces Collaboration with Jordan Brand

Dave White came on to the sneaker scene years ago with his Air Jordan inspired art. Recently he worked with Jordan Brand on a Wings For The Future Air Jordan 1 that only saw auction release. In the future he will be collaborating with the brand, as announced on his Twitter. Details are scarce but expectations are high. Look for this project to release September 1st and stay tuned for more information.

Last week, we gave you a look at the newly-designed Jordan Fly 23 “Black Carbon”. The overall sleek design is very similar to Dwyane Wade’s first Jordan signature shoe, the Jordan Fly Wade. As for the upper details, this shoe possesses a combination of black leather, patent leather and faux carbon fiber, while details such as the blue tinted outsole and the silver Jumpman tongue/heel branding provide little contrast.

Sneaker Freaker’s Mafia recently caught up with Nice Kicks CEO Matt Halfhill and photographer extraordinaire Jared Ryder, the two men behind Playboy’s Top 23 Air Jordans List. Specifically, the first ever Sole Mates campaign, which displays the 23 hottest Air Jordans modeled by Playboy’s sexiest Playmates, was solely ranked (Jordan by Jordan) by Matt Halfhill, while Jared Ryder took on the task of displaying the shoes and Playmates in creative photographic shots. UNDFTD x PUMA "24 Hours of Clyde" at Nice Kicks

In honor of the launch of the UNDFTD x Clyde Canvas Collection this weekend, PUMA has put together a full day's worth of events. 12 shops around the country will each be hosting a 2 hour event, including Nice Kicks, combining to create the aptly titled "24 Hours of Clyde."

Friday night, Nice Kicks will release the limited release kicks, play host to DJ Dontizl, provide food and drinks and give away the opportunity to spend 24 hours of your own living the life like Clyde Frazier himself. You'll win a limousine for an evening, custom tailored suit, fine dining and VIP treatment at an Austin nightclub. Entrants must be at the event to win.

As seen in our Kicks On Court earlier today, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade wore new colorways of their signature sneakers. Many of you commented positively on both signature colorways and rightfully so. However, who rocked the best signature sneaker colorway in last night’s game 3 of the 2011 NBA Finals. Both sneakers feature a red/gold-white color scheme to coincide with the alternate, red Miami Heat jerseys. The Nike LeBron 8 PS is set to hit retailers soon, while word on if the Jordan Fly Wade will release or not has yet to be established. Following the look we had this weekend at skate legend Eric Koston’s extensive sneaker collection, we’re getting a peek at the shoes he deems worthy of being stored inside, as well as the inside scoop on the design process behind the Nike SB Eric Koston One. Keeping the shoe minimal was important for Koston, who wanted to use modern performance technology, but not in a flashy way. Lunarlon is used for the midsole, which is kept discreetly within the shoe. The Koston One is in stores now.

As a continuation of the Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse colorways we previewed last week, three completely new pairs have surfaced today. This particular model features the classic Nike Air Max 1 silhouette with updated materials and a more breathable upper. Today’s preview features a trio of dramatic colorways including two futuristic silver-based pairs and a sleek black pair. Neon green, neon pink, and tonal blue accents are respectively applied on the three pairs for a great spring look. Check out more images below.

Kicks On Court: LeBron & Wade Rock New Signature Colorways in Game 3

Over the weekend, we gave you a detailed look at the Nike LeBron 8 PS and the Jordan Fly Wade both respective players would wear in game 3 of the 2011 NBA Finals. As expected, the new colorways did not disappoint and looked great on the hardwood. Are these the best colorways of both respective sneakers? James scored 17 points and dished out nine assists while wearing a predominately red LeBron 8 PS with minimal gold and white hints. As for Wade, he went with the Jordan Fly Wade “Game 3″ PE that features gold and white hints as well. The other Wade PE was rocked by Jordan Brand members Mike Bibby and Juwan Howard.
