Sneakerology 101 x Reebok Reverse Jam Posted: 08 Apr 2009 06:42 AM PDT Sneakerology 101 x Reebok Reverse Jam The Sneakerology 101 x Reebok Reverse Jam shoe's evident theme is education but one that extends beyond the walls of Carnegie Mellon and into the Greater Pittsburgh area. Yes, Sneakerology is a scientific discipline nowadays. And Reebok seems to make its own contributions to the field with this new and unusual design which brings together aspects of professionalism and courageous creativity.First off, the outer of this Reverse Jam Mid contains elements which directly relate back to a classroom atmosphere. For example, the slate nubuck upper is meant to represent the blackboard, while the yellow stripes represent chalk, and the wool felt tongue represents a chalkboard eraser. The kicks are limited with only 101 made. You can pick them up at the Carnegie Mellon Campus for $75 on the 15th of April at Kicksburg, with proceeds going to charity. Posted: 08 Apr 2009 06:19 AM PDT Atmos x New Balance CM996 AB The Atmos x New Balance CM996 AB shoe features a textured black upper with plenty of added style features. The heel and ankle panels, as well as the New Balance "N" logo are covered in a houndstooth pattern and the top section of the midsole sports a speckled purple hue. The most noticeable feature, however, is the gradient rainbow effect that transitions up the entire shoe, from purple on the toe, all the way to green on the tongue. The use of vibrant, multi-colored accents definitely adds depth to the shoe. The insole also features a rainbow gradient while the heel hosts a unique black/grey pattern. Atmos x New Balance CM996 AB
