Swagger jacked by Bow Wow, what are we gonna do now? Looks like Lil Boweezy picked up some fresh Throwback Thursday kicks on his recent tour across the country. But nevermind the kicks, where’d he get those pics?
When we showed you this Nike Air Max 1 “Lunar” late last month, many of you really liked the concept, yet you were not as enthused about the sneaker itself. However, in hopes of swaying your opinion, we have now spotted detailed photos of this sneaker.
This particular colorway pays tribute USA’s 40th Anniversary of its moon landing. Therefore, it is only fitting that this sneaker possesses a futuristic, out-of-space look. The upper consists of a black leather base with areas of quilted black nylon. It also features metallic silver accents on the sole, ankle area, tongue and shoelaces. Continuing its galaxy look, this shoe also has crater-like patterns embossed just above the sole. Supposedly, this is just one part of an upcoming Lunar Pack. Stay tuned for release information.
Yesterday we saw some fresh SB Dunks that will be hitting retailers here in the States this month. In Japan though, a new non SB Dunk High has started to hit retail shelves.
This new Nike Dunk High colorway is made up of a simple combination of black and blue. The uppers are made up of suede, however the Swoosh is hit up with leather. These Dunks feature basketball-like dimple pattern in the suede around the toebox though, which has me still wondering how I feel about them. What do you think of them?

Summer time is almost here which, withour a doubt, means comfortable kicks to chill in are on everybody’s updated cop list. Vans always has classic and simple silhouettes that are perfect for those summer barbecues.
New colorways of the Vans Era are arriving at retailers now. One of the new colorways hops on the pink trend, while a couple others are more subtle like the simple red and white make-up. The simple khaki colorway is a good look for the “trying to maintain professionalism” at that company picnic.
In early March, we showed you a very unique set of Nike Terminators, and many of you thought it was a decent design despite the one-of-a-kind look. In contrast, Nike has just released a more basic style of the Nike Terminator High in four different colorways.
The colorway to the right features a predominately white leather upper with red accents on the tongue logo, heel and shoelaces. In addition, this sneaker also owns red patent leather details on the toe and eyelet area. To finish it off, this shoe contains a white midsole and red outsole. The Japanese island of Okinawa is heavily influenced by American culture, so its no surprise that Converse would be pushing some of their classic silhouettes in the region.
For April, not only is Converse releasing iconic American silhouettes, but three of the Converse Japan Releases are done up in some sixties inspired colorways that have Jerry Garcia considering a comeback.
Two colorways of the Chuck Taylor All Star make a psychedelic appearance in the mix, while the Skidgrip low top is Grateful Dead-like but on a more subtle tip. In a completely different direction, the Jack Purcell is made up of a wonven upper in simple black colorway.
This Air Jordan Fusion 9 White/Black-University Blue will officially on April 11th, 2009. However, this love/hate sneaker is starting to show up at select retailers very early.
Inspired by the classic Air Jordan IX "Powder Blue”, It features a predominately white upper with a solid powder blue midsole. Other powder blue accents appear on the lacetag and Jordan logo on the black tongue. In addition, the shoelaces are also colored in black, while the shoe itself is complimented with a white outsole. This Saturday a more traditional colorway of the Air Jordan 2009 will be hitting retailers. Though the official Black/Varsity Red-Stealth colorway may not describe the colorway properly at first glance, this black and white 2K9 is more “Chicago Bulls” then any previous colorways. I could definitely see MJ ballin’ in these if he was still in the league.
Every April, the McDonald’s All-American Game showcases the top high school players in the country. For most of the future superstars, this matchup is their first game in which the whole basketball world is watching. Our Kicks On Court spotted the All-American players showcasing their talent in an exclusive sneaker.
Last night, all players from the East and West teams, sported a never-before-seen colorway of the Reebok Answer XII. Inspired by McDonald’s logo colors, this sneaker contained a predominately white leather base with red and yellow accents throughout the upper. If you recall, this is Allen Iverson’s 12th signature sneaker. When A.I. first debuted this sneaker, many of you stated that it was one of the better Iverson signature sneakers. Is this one of the better colorways seen on this sneaker yet?
The Air Max 90 Current Flywire seems to be the latest big push from Nike. Yesterday we showed you a black colorway. Today we have a closer look at the grey AM90 Current Flywire colorway that we showed you last week.
This Nike Air Max 90 Current Flywire is dropping as part of the Grid Pack. This colorway features an mostly grey upper with the grid pattern on the inner liner. The black and white two-toned midsole makes for a good look on the extremely flexible Free technology sole.
