DC LIFE Admiral for BLENDS

A couple of weeks ago, we previewed the DC LIFE Dress Sneaker, and those who commented stated that the peculiar shoe was average at best. However, we have now found a more detailed DC LIFE sneaker that is the product of a Japanese collaboration.

Dubbed the DC LIFE Admiral, this shoe was manufactured and designed with the help of retailer BLENDS. This high-top sneaker contains a 100% white leather upper combined with a white rubber sole. Other details include perforated side panels, white custom shoelaces and a silver DC logo tag to the left of the side panels. In addition, this sneaker also possesses custom insoles inspired by Japanese playing cards. Click here to view the DC LIFE Admiral retail locations.

FAME CITY x Mita x New Balance M575J

Last week, we showed you an exclusive New Balance M575J colorway using an all-white ostrich leather on the base. In contrast, we have now spotted a unique, multi-colored M575J. This sneaker is sure to break some necks, to say the least.

First off, this design is the product of a collaboration between graffiti collective FAME CITY, Mita and New Balance. It contains an upper made of suede, leather and mesh. The colors used on this sneaker are endless. From orange suede side panels, to blue shoelaces to a yellow mesh toe box, this shoe possesses almost every color you used to draw with in the Crayon box. Other features include a yellow mesh tongue, sky blue inner lining and a speckled pattern sole. Click here for detailed photos.

Nike Air Max 90 Current Tier Zero

Nike Air Max 90 Current Tier Zero

Lately, we have shown you a couple of the Air Max Flywire colorways including the Grey/Black and the Triple Black. However, we have spotted yet another Nike Air Max 90 colorway that contains a similar yet totally different design.

First off, this sneaker will be harder to get your hands on seeing that it is a tier zero. Although its look is very similar to the aforementioned Current Flywire designs, the Nike Air Max 90 Current Tier Zero contains a few different details. With that said, this sneaker features an all-over anthracite grid pattern on the black upper. Other features include a black swoosh, shoelaces and the Nike Free inspired sole. The Nike Air Max 90 Current Tier Zero is now available at select Nike Sportswear retailers. Click here to view detailed photos.

Air Jordan 16.5

Posted: 13 Apr 2009 01:06 PM PDT

Air Jordan 16.5

Recently, we have seen many Nike hybrids such as the Air 1/2 Cent, the Air Force 180 Hybrid and the Air Tech Challenge Hybrid. In addition, Jordan Brand will try its hybrid hand at an upcoming sneaker dubbed the Air Jordan 16.5.

Although this particular hybrid draws inspirations from both the Air Jordan XVI and the Air Jordan XVII, it seems to take more detail from the XVII. For example, the Air Jordan 16.5 possesses the double row of laceholders as well as a similar model shape of the Air Jordan XVI. However, it does own the patent leather toe box and midsole of the Air Jordan XVII. If you recall, the Air Jordan XVI OG release featured the exact same colorway as this Air Jordan 16.5. Other interesting details include the chrome-like outsole and the word “Jordan” on the midsole heel in braille. The Air Jordan 16.5 is set to release in November 2009. What are your thoughts on this Air Jordan hybrid? Click here to view detailed photos.
