Converse Weapon 86 New Colorways

Posted: 24 Apr 2009 12:39 PM PDT

Converse Weapon 86 New ColorwaysTowards the end of last year we saw a preview of Converse Weapon 2009 colorways. Today a number of colorways have arrived at Paxanga.

This Converse Weapon is available in a number of fresh color choices. The New York Knicks colorway, a white and green Celtics-esque colorway, as well as a white and red colorway that could be a nice home colorway for the Bulls. Perfect timing for the playoffs…well at least for some teams.

Which Weapon would you choose?

Air Jordan Fusion 4 “Cement Grey”

Posted: 24 Apr 2009 12:30 PM PDT

Air Jordan Fusion 4 Cement Grey

Yesterday, we showed you what may be the most talked-bout pair of Fusion sneakers in a long time. Many of you stated that it was one of the freshest Fusions ever seen, however, while release date info is still uncertain, we now have spotted yet another upcoming Air Jordan Fusion 4 release.

Obviously, this Fusion draws inspirations from the infamous Air Jordan IV “Cement Grey”. It features a predominately white leather upper with cement grey straps, black laceholders and a red Jumpman logo on the tongue. As with previous Fusion models, this sneaker features the Air Force 1 sole which contains a transparent cement midsole and a white outsole. The Air Jordan IV “Cement Grey” is arguably one of better Jordan sneakers ever created; therefore, is this particular sneaker disrespecting the classic or is this one of the better Fusions seen yet?

PONY Feed The Cat Hemp & Herringbone

PONY Feed the Cat Hemp & Herringbone

Since the relaunch of the brand a little more than a year ago, PONY has been making major strides in a marketplace that is full of fierce competition.  This summer, PONY brings a casual silhouette, Feed the Cat, in a number of colors and interesting fabrics.  Two that stuck out to us were a Hemp as well as a Herringbone make up of the clean model.

PONY went with a classic tan perforated suede for the toe and tongue to compliment the hemp upper.  A slight touch of white patent leather compliments the white glossy eyelets and subtle white stitching that outlines the company’s chevron logo.  One of the nicest details of this pair was the seersucker lining that ties together the white and tan.  The second pair (posted after the break) features a soft grey suede, charcoal, herringbone fabric, and faux snakeskin.

Both pairs of the PONY Feed the Cat featured are available at Foot Locker for a very affordable price of $54.99.  Click here to check out more detailed shots of both pairs.

Asics Gel Lyte III Summer 2009

Yesterday, we showed you the Asics GEL Lyte III "Lite Brite" that is inspired by the Guinness Book of World Record holding Lite Brite light installation. Although many are waiting for the release of the aforementioned “Lite Brite”, we have now spotted two new, exotic colorways of the Asics Gel Lyte III.

Both colorways do not hold a torch up to the “Lite Brite” as far as colorways, however, they do possess unique colorways in their own right. One pair features a predominately dark grey upper with orange and turquoise details throughout the base. The other pair uses a leather upper composed of purple, green, yellow and black. Both pair also contain s unique pattern on the shoelaces. Pick both colorways up now at Hanon. Click here to view detailed photos.

Fourstar x DVS Dayton

Posted: 24 Apr 2009 09:06 AM PDT

Fourstar x DVS DaytonFourstar Clothing has recently teamed up with DVS for a collaborative project on their Dayton silhouette.

This Fourstar x DVS Dayton colorway was done up by DVS rider Andrew Brophy when he joined the DVS pro team last year. The Dayton was Brophy’s choice because of features like the Bruise Control heel cushioning system, vulcanized outsole and overall simple styling. You can pick up these up at DVS retailers now.

Brophy and teammate Torey Pudwill will also be hitting up the upcoming Wallenberg contest on May 30th. You won’t wanna miss this one. Pick up the kicks, and check out the event at this legendary San Francisco skate spot.

Busy P x Nike Air Force 1 1World

Last summer Nike Sportswear linked up with Busy P to release his rendition of the Nike Air Force 1 exclusively in limited numbers in Paris, France and later to a lineup of folks waiting outside of Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer St.  The Busy P x Nike Air Force 1 has unexpectedly hit NikeStore.com for far less than the resale price.

Grab while you can - these definitely won’t last more than an hour or two at best.

Nike Air Max 3 (Air Garnett 3)

Posted: 24 Apr 2009 08:07 AM PDT

Nike Air Max 3 (Air Garnett 3)It has been ten years since we’ve seen the Air Garnett 3, unless of course you are a Nice Kicks follower, in that case, you probably remember them from our March Madness Memories feature.

The Nike Air Max 3 as it is now called, is set to drop in October in this original colorway. KG fans will be all over these, which are probably the most popular of the Garnett signature kicks. An Air unit in the heel, and a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot help make these one of the more comfortable basketball shoes of its day. If you can’t wait until October, you can check out the Zoom FP that were actually inspired by these shoes.

Click here to see detailed shots of these Air Max 3.
