Air Jordan Flight 45 Posted: 05 May 2009 11:53 AM PDT Even though, the retro Jordans are near instant sellers, Jordan Brand has probably one of the most uphill battles in creating new kicks. Though many of us wouldn’t mind if JB only dropped OG retro colorways from now until eternity. New silhouettes need to have a mix of classic Jordan to appeal to the old school cats, as well as feel new for the youngsters comin’ up. A difficult task to say the least. The Air Jordan Flight 45 seems to find the right balance of both. The styling is definitely new to the Jordan lineup, yet the colorway and the elephant print is still classic Jordan. The sole is reminiscent of the Jordan 3, and the strap across the upper though it may be a retro-like, is all 2009. What do you think of these kicks? What if they came with a Swoosh and were released in the early 90’s? | Read the rest of Air Jordan Flight 45 © Nick Engvall for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 24 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Air Jordan Flight 45, Air Jordans |

Air Jordan 2009 Carmelo Anthony PE Posted: 05 May 2009 11:06 AM PDT A couple months back we started to see various PE editions of the Air Jordan 2009. The Carmelo “Home” PE was one of the most well received colorways of the AJ2009. Today we have a look at the “away” colorway. This colorway of the Air Jordan 2009 Carmelo Anthony PE comes in a black patent leather with accenting blue and yellow colors worked into various spots on the uppers. As with the home version, Melo’s number 15 has been lasered into the tongue of his kicks. The yellow touches are subtle to say the least, only placed on the two visible eyelets and the stitching on the heel. Which keeps these kicks appealing to more than just Denver Nuggets fans. Are these the best Air Jordan 2009’s to date? Click here to let us know what you think. | Read the rest of Air Jordan 2009 Carmelo Anthony PE © Nick Engvall for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 14 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Air Jordan 2009, Carmelo Anthony |

For example, the toe box, side panels and pump logo are all colored in infrared, while the outsole, inner lining and laceholders feature a green shade.
