Nike Big Nike Low

Posted: 06 May 2009 12:55 PM PDT

Nike Big Nike LowNike dropped the Big Nike silhouette back in the 80’s and although its sibling the Dunk has received more attention in recent years. The Big Nike was a staple basketball shoe in its day, found on the feet of basketball giant, Manute Bol.

The Nike Big Nike Low appeared in a fresh white colorway last month and returns this month in three varsity colorways. Japanese characters have been replaced the usual big “NIKE” found on the heel, and a combination of leather, mesh and nylon combine in an effort to prove that bigger is better.

Nike Blazer Hi “Green Spark”

Posted: 06 May 2009 07:41 AM PDT

Nike Blazer Hi Green SparkEarlier this month we saw a bright Ms. Pacman inspired Dunk from the May Nike SB lineup. Today we have a look at an equally bright colorway of the Nike SB Blazer that will drop sometime this fall.

The Nike Blazer Hi “Green Spark” is done up in a bright “Green Spark” with red accents that has been dubbed Pimento. Like many Blazers from Nike Skateboarding, this particular colorway receives a leather treatment on the Swoosh, while the rest of the upper is done up in a mash up of nubuck and suede. A nice looking shoe that should hit stores towards the end of summer.

Nike Air Force 1 Armed Forces 2009

Posted: 05 May 2009 02:57 PM PDT

Nike Air Force 1 Armed Forces 2009Over the weekend, Nike dropped the latest Armed Forces inspired Air Force 1. As with previous Armed Forces AF1 releases, these were only available on base.

The Nike Air Force 1 Armed Forces 2009 colorway this year is a little more militaristic then the 2008 AF1. It was done up in a completely tonal Neutral Olive upper. A mix of materials makes it onto these kicks that were created to honor those individuals to serve our country. A white midsole, as well as white laces, and some lasering effects on the heel area finish off these kicks.

As a Quickstrike these are fairly limited, and previously stated, deservingly only available on base to those serving our country.

Click here to see detailed shots after the jump.
