Quai 54 x Air Jordan 1 Retro “Ruff & Tuff”

Quai 54 x Air Jordan 1 Retro Ruff & Tuff

As we all know, the summer season brings about multiple basketball tournaments whether it be AAU, streetball or traditional leagues at your local gym. That said, which basketball kicks will you be hooping in for the summer?

Quai 45, the largest International Streetball Tournament, is held in Paris, France. Jordan Brand sponsored the well-known event last year. To bring more attention to the event, JB has designed an exclusive Air Jordan 1 Retro for this year’s Quai 54. At a first glance, this shoe may remind you of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Blue Sapphire; yet, it contains many different details. It features a 100% laser blue base mixed with a White/Blue speckled midsole. Other features include a black stitched swoosh, a translucent outsole, a multi-colored inner lining and the Quai 54 logo on the tongue. The tournament kicks off at the end of June (27th & 28th), therefore, this shoe is expected to drop during that time exclusively at Paris shops. Click here to view additional photos.

Nike Air Yeezy Proceeds go to Loop Dreams Foundation

Nike Air Yeezy

Doesn’t it feel good to know that your money goes to positive places sometimes? Well, unknowingly (for most of you), your Nike Air Yeezy purchase went directly to a foundation Kanye West started a couple of years ago named Loop Dreams.

The foundation generously helps music programs in schools. We must applaud Kanye West and Nike for constructing this act during our country’s economic problems. Check out West’s explanation of the situation by clicking the photo. If you would like to make additional contributions to Loop Dreams click here.

Air Jordan “Do the Right Thing” Pack

Air Jordan Do the Right Thing Pack

When we showed you the Air Jordan “Do the Right Thing” Pack in mid-February, many of you stated that you could not wait until its upcoming release. To continue teasing you, we now have additional, detailed photos of the highly-anticipated pack.

This pack will consist of two basic Air Jordan 1 colorways. Both pairs feature a primarily white leather base, however, one pair contains minimal green details, while the other pair possesses red accents. One glaring difference between the samples we showed you earlier in the year and this official pack is the inner lining. The samples featured multi-colored inner linings while the official sneakers contain a solid inner lining. What are your thoughts on the minor alterations?

Solebox x Saucony Type A3

Solebox is taking over the sneaker industry one collaboration at a time. In recent months we’ve seen thm collab with Hypebeast, Vans, and Puma. Not to mention the many collabs that landed them on our Best of the Best: Sneaker Collab Hot Spots list.

This Solebox x Saucony Type A3 is a nice combination of black and aqua. The silhouette has a very new school feel compared to a lot of collabs we’ve seen. Pushing the envelope is what Solebox does best. Would you like to see more companies collab on more current silhouettes?
