Nike Air Trainer SC Total Orange

Nike Air Trainer SC Total Orange

Nike Training is steady bringing on the retros to help celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the Bo Knows campaign. Aside from the Trainer 1 Legacy Pack, and the Tecmo Bo Trainer II, another classic colorway will be making a return in the coming months.

This color combination of the Nike Air Trainer SC combines Total Orange, Light Zen Grey and Stealth on top of a white base. The colorway pays tribute to Bo Jackson’s career at the Auburn University. The colorway originally dropped back in 1989 when the Bo Knows marketing campaign was probably more popular than prime time sitcoms.

Look for these to hit retailers in September for $105.

Nike 1/2 Cent Black/Black Detailed Photos

Posted: 23 Jul 2009 12:33 PM PDT

Nike 1/2 Cent

The original colorway of the Nike 1/2 Cent was, and still is, one of the better releases of 2009. Many of you labeled this particular shoe the best Nike hybrid sneaker ever, and rightfully so. However, in the near future, Nike will release the second colorway of the Nike 1/2 Cent. Who else has been impatiently waiting on this sneaker to arrive at retailers?

Obviously, it features a 100% black base with the majority of it smothered in foamposite material. Similar to the first colorway, this sneaker's braided shoelaces match the unique, lightning-like design on the inside of the swoosh. Other features include holograms attributes on the tongue and outsole, a visible Air sole unit and a mirror-reflecting Penny logo just below the collar. Available now at Foot Action for $190.

Throwback Thursday: Nike Air CB4

Posted: 23 Jul 2009 12:33 PM PDT

Nike Air CB4

In the 1996 offseason, Charles Barkley was traded to Houston from Phoenix after a somewhat disappointing season despite Charles having a solid year. The move to Houston put Nike in an interesting position. As we mentioned in our article When Sh*t Happens to Signature Sneakers, Barkley wore the CB34 II in Houston (complete with the number 34 on the side of the shoe), but was forced to wear the #4 jersey as Hakeem already owned the number. Nike was sent scrambling to get their numbers straight, and for the latter part of the 1996-97 season, Charles Barkley wore the Nike Air CB4. Ultimately, the Nike CB4 did not perform nearly as well on the court or in stores as prior Barkley models and was the second to the last signature sneaker for Sir Charles.

Something that has become somewhat interesting as of late is the introduction of Chris Bosh PE’s that feature the same initials and numbers as Barkley - CB4. Click here to have a better look at the Nike Air CB4.

Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache

The early 90’s brought countless running classics from many brands. Nike had many, two of which, are combined in the newest hybrid.

This red and white colorway of the Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache will hit retailers early next month. Most of you seem to feel this hybrid is taking away from the classic Air Huarache and Air Max 90. However, with the recent success of the Maxim 1, maybe some of you will reconsider? Especially since the Maxim 1, initially, received the same negative feedback.

Let us know if you’ll be picking up these by clicking here.
