When it comes to young MC’s in Hip-Hop today, none are being more talked about than Kid Cudi and Drake. With Cudi’s album Man On The Moon: The End Of Day set to hit stores September 15, and Drake flooding the radio airwaves off his mixtape tracks, these two artists seem to just be getting started. Today, we focus on their sneakers. Both have been spotted wearing the red suede Jordan V Toro Bravo Pack in recent photos, two much different ways. So we say that, to ask this, who rocked it better? | Nike Blazer Mid ND Club Purple Posted: 28 Aug 2009 12:58 PM PDT  Is this the ‘Year of the Blazer’? Many people, including ourselves, have wondered this seeing that the amount of Blazer colorways in 2009 seem endless. Lately, we have shown you a couple of superb Blazers including the Sportswear Blazer ND Black/Hot Red and the Blazer Hi Premium ND "Selvage". In addition, OSneaker now has this Nike Blazer Mid ND Club Purple in stock for $160. First off, this Blazer will supposedly officially release in the spring of 2010. It contains a 100% club purple-colored nylon mesh base, while the inside of the sneaker features premium purple mesh. Other details include volt-colored shoelaces and contrast stitching around the swoosh. The latter section, along with the toe cap are made of purple leather. | Converse 1HUND(RED) Jack Purcell V3 Posted: 28 Aug 2009 08:46 AM PDT  When we showed you the newly-designed Converse Jack Purcell Racearound earlier this week, the majority of those that commented stated that it was a really fresh design. In the same manner, Converse has designed yet another Jack Purcell style; however, this particular sneaker holds much more meaning than a regular release. Designed by Ian Ginoza, this shoe was designed to help fight AIDS in Africa. "I just wanted to make something hopeful," said Ian. This is act is also expressed by the Converse 1HUND(RED) campaign. The makeup draws inspirations from a single white blood cell. It features a predominately white epi leather mixed with a white rubber outsole. Minimal red accents appear on the inner lining, tongue and throughout the midfoot area. It will release tomorrow, August 29th, 2009 at select retailers for $90. | Nike Air 3 “Kevin Garnett” Posted: 28 Aug 2009 08:13 AM PDT |  Last year Kevin Garnett said in an interview that being on the cover of NBA 2K9 was more special that having signature shoes. While it may be a toss up which is better, one thing is for certain, KG had some pretty decent sneakers during his career - especially with Nike. (see feature) Nike and Garnett are no longer, but that doesn’t mean that the shoes he wore will not return. Coming in October is the Nike Air 3 which is pretty much the Nike Air Garnett III minus any KG branding. This colorup is probably the most recognizable of the model and was worn by Garnett during his days with the Timberwolves. One slight change to this retro from the original is that the shoes have a Max Air heel unit rather than Tuned Air that was in the OG’s.
