Nike Air Force 1 “Savage Beast” Detailed Look

Posted: 30 Sep 2009 12:58 PM PDT

Nike Air Force 1

Last November, the majority of you were undoubtedly excited about the Nike Air Force 1 “Black Friday” which featured a predominance of black pony hair on the upper. If you fell in love with the pony attribute, you will not have to look any further than this sneaker.

With that said, the Nike Air Force 1 “Savage Beast” is, well, very beastly to say the least. Its base is done up and smothered entirely in orange pony hair. The only other color and texture designs on this sneaker is the beige canvas swoosh and heel tab (which reads, Savage Beast in red) along with the black and red Nike tongue logo and the debray. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a brown outsole. Look for the Air Force 1 “Savage Beast” to hit Nike retailers very soon. Until then, click here to view detailed photos.

Nike SB Blazer “Chuck Taylor”

Posted: 30 Sep 2009 12:28 PM PDT

Nike SB Blazer "Chuck Taylor"

The Converse Chuck Taylor is about as classic as sneakers get. And the Blazer has quite a following of its own. So for this Blazer, Nike lifted the design of the Chuck and applied it to this newer silhouette.

Almost every detail was transferred over. Metal eyelets hold the white laces against the black canvas upper, also. This SB will almost certainly never release, as this sample appears to be one of very few right in existence. The two details that stand out the most are the tongue, which is very thin canvas with stitching on the edges, and the heel label, an almost identical remake of the Chuck’s. You can see the comparison in the pics after the jump.

We have placed a pair of the “Lights Out” Nike Trainer 1’s for sale on eBay to benefit the Philippine National Red Cross.  ALL money raised from this auction will benefit in Typhoon Ondoy relief.  Click here if you would like to bid or make donations directly at the Philippine National Red Cross website - redcross.org.ph.

Vans Holiday Switchback & Chukka

Posted: 30 Sep 2009 11:58 AM PDT

Vans Holiday Switchback & Chukka

Vans has mastered the art of revamping its classic silhouettes in new colorways and with new materials, like the “Perforated Pack” we saw yesterday, but for this Holiday season we’re going to see one of their newest silhouettes in the Vans Switchback. But don’t worry, the Chukka’s back too, and both are now available at Bows & Arrows Berkeley.

The Chukka comes in two all-suede color-ups–a super light grey and also navy. The Navy sits on a white vulcanized sole, while the other uses a darker grey one. The Switchback, as you may remember from the California collection, is a boot-style sneaker with lots of padding and a thick vulcanized sole, which is sewn on to the uppers. The upper is made of a black waxed canvas, adding to its durability and rugged looks. The laces are straight from boots, also. It looks like Vans isn’t content to be just a summer shoe.

Click here to see all three sneaks.

Nike Terminator High “Noise” Sneak Peek

Posted: 30 Sep 2009 11:28 AM PDT

Nike Terminator

Lately, we have received photos of some very unique and outspoken Terminator styles including the “White Journey Pack” and the Swagger x Nike collaboration. On the contrary, we have now spotted a sneak peek of an upcoming, seemingly subtle Terminator dubbed the “Noise”.

Supposedly, this “Noise” Terminator coincides with recent release of the Nike x Hiroshi Fujiwara x Fragment Design collaborative t-shirts and raglan tees. The sneaker itself seems to possess a mainly black leather base with minimal silver accents, namely the top part of the heel panel and the bottom which reads, ‘Noise’. Stay tuned for more information on this upcoming Terminator High. What are your preliminary thoughts on this sneaker?

Air Jordan Fusion 10 White/Red First Look

Posted: 30 Sep 2009 10:28 AM PDT

Air Jordan Fusion 10

In this month alone, we have received new photos and information on the conversation-starting Air Jordan Fusion 13 and the Air Jordan Fusion 8 models. You can now add this Air Jordan Fusion 10 to the ever-extending list of fusion models we continue to see. What a month, right?

Obviously, this Fusion borrows all of its inspiration from the Air Jordan X White/Varsity Red. The tireless Air Force 1 sole is added with the midsole coming in white and the outsole done up in red. It also seems to incorporate the ankle strap as well. Supposedly, the Air Jordan Fusion 10 will hit retailers in 2010 for $140. What are your preliminary thoughts on this fusion? Click here to voice your opinion.

Adidas Skateboarding for October

Adidas Skateboarding for October

The Adidas Skateboarding releases jump keep on coming! Earlier we saw the Adidas Skate Culver Vulc, and now we’ve got three more releases for October.

In only a few days, three additional Adidas Skate models will release, including one for Dennis Busenitz, whose Nizza High was well-received when we showed it recently. Now we see another pro model for him in these dark brown and gum low-tops. A Campus Vulc will also release in a black/white colorway, similar to the aforementioned Culver Vulc, replacing lime green with blue accents. Finally, a grey suede Ciero completes the triefecta.

Adidas is really looking to turn up the heat on Nike SB and traditional skate shoe companies. Is it working? Head to the comments section and weigh in on these three releases, which will all be available at Atlas.

Puma Basket Silver Winner Pack

Posted: 29 Sep 2009 12:28 PM PDT

Puma Basket

If you recall, Puma released a two-set of the Basket model in mid-May. The colorways, which featured white/orange and black/purple, coincided with the spring/summer season perfectly. In the same manner, Puma will release two subtle, fall/winter ready Basket styles shortly.

The Puma Basket has often been applauded for its simplicity, and these particular styles nonetheless add to its easy-going look. Obviously, the most eye-catching of the two is the metallic silver pair. The only spots not smothered in metallic silver are the Puma stripe logo and the shoelaces which contain a glitter-like design. The other pair simply owns a black leather base with similar shoelaces. No word on when both pair will release; however, click here to view detailed photos.

Reebok Reverse Jam Releases for Fall/Winter

Reebok Reverse Jam Releases for Fall/Winter

For the Fall and Winter of 2009, Reebok is releasing the Reverse Jam in four new colorways.

Using four separate monotone uppers, each pair comes with either a white midsole or one using a single accent color. The dark brown leather and black leather pairs get a light blue and red midsole, respectively, and both use black outsoles. For these two, the leather is given a worn treatment, adding a green hue to the black uppers, and a lighter tan hue for the brown leather pair. For the red and green pairs, a simple white midsole is used with upper-matching outsoles. They also use mesh accents on the toes and tongues. All four pairs are currently available through Japanese seller Gettry.

Click here for pics of all four colorways.

Puma Clyde “Africa” New Arrivals

Posted: 29 Sep 2009 11:28 AM PDT

Puma Clyde Africa

In mid-August, Puma released two Clyde “Africa” colorways in which many of you thought were nice, subtle designs. In addition, Puma has unleashed two more limited edition Puma Clyde “Africa” styles which are also available at Mita.

One pair (shown to the right) features what seems to be a mostly black base with glaring brown details particularly in the form of the shoelaces and the Puma stripe on the side panels. The multi-shaped color patterns that border the midfoot area along with the red inner lining give this shoe a nice color contrast. The remaining pair possesses the same design; however, it owns a white/grey color scheme. Click here to view the more photos of these new arrivals.

Nike Terminator High “Winter Journey Pack”

Posted: 29 Sep 2009 10:58 AM PDT

Nike Terminator High "Winter Journey Pack"

Last week we covered this Blazer Low as a part of a then-incomplete and unofficial Winter Pack, but now we’ve got the second and third pieces to the Nike “Winter Journey Pack” in these Terminators.

Keeping with the aforementioned Blazer’s heel piece, both Terminators feature Native-American blanket-like graphics. One pair features an all-suede upper, mixing purple and black. A white midsole is finished with a fuschia outsole and multicolor laces using orange, yellow and brown. The other colorway these laces, also. More natural colors are used though, as the upper is made up with brown and tan, and the outsole is a golden yellow. The latter matches up with the aforementioned Blazer very well, with the purple and black Terminator acting as the third wheel in the pack.

Expect the whole pack to drop later in 2009. Click here for more pics.

Nike Pac Man Knows T-Shirt

Posted: 29 Sep 2009 10:28 AM PDT

Nike

This past Friday, Nike released the highly-anticipated Nike Trainer 1 “Lights Out”. Seeing that the shoe was released in a very limited quality, many of you probably failed to get your hands on them. However, if you were one of the lucky people who snagged them, Nike has created a T-Shirt that coincides with the aforementioned release.

Much like the sneaker itself, this t-shirt is mainly black with minimal glow-in-the-dark features. Specifically, the words, ‘Pac Man’ are 100% glow-in-the-dark, while the word, ‘Knows’ possesses a glow-in-the-dark speckled pattern. The Nike Pac Man Knows T-Shirt is now available on Nike’s online store.

Jordan Hallowed GroundThe Jordan Hallowed Ground is one of the multiple JB sneakers to look out for during the upcoming 2009-2010 NBA season. Recently, we showed you the Richard Hamilton PE; however, we have spotted an Oak Hill Academy version of this sneaker.

If you recall, Jordan Brand has designed a number of sneakers in the Oak Hill Academy color scheme. It features a predominately black suede base with red contrast stitching throughout the upper. One of the more interesting features on this shoe is the red and black gradient-like design on the midsole. This Jordan Hallowed Ground “Oak Hill Academy” will hit select retailers in November 2009.
