Nike Air Force 1 “Savage Beast” Detailed Look Posted: 30 Sep 2009 12:58 PM PDT Last November, the majority of you were undoubtedly excited about the Nike Air Force 1 “Black Friday” which featured a predominance of black pony hair on the upper. If you fell in love with the pony attribute, you will not have to look any further than this sneaker. With that said, the Nike Air Force 1 “Savage Beast” is, well, very beastly to say the least. Its base is done up and smothered entirely in orange pony hair. The only other color and texture designs on this sneaker is the beige canvas swoosh and heel tab (which reads, Savage Beast in red) along with the black and red Nike tongue logo and the debray. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a brown outsole. Look for the Air Force 1 “Savage Beast” to hit Nike retailers very soon. Until then, click here to view detailed photos. | Read the rest of Nike Air Force 1 “Savage Beast” Detailed Look © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike, Nike Air Force 1 |
Nike SB Blazer “Chuck Taylor” Posted: 30 Sep 2009 12:28 PM PDT The Converse Chuck Taylor is about as classic as sneakers get. And the Blazer has quite a following of its own. So for this Blazer, Nike lifted the design of the Chuck and applied it to this newer silhouette. Almost every detail was transferred over. Metal eyelets hold the white laces against the black canvas upper, also. This SB will almost certainly never release, as this sample appears to be one of very few right in existence. The two details that stand out the most are the tongue, which is very thin canvas with stitching on the edges, and the heel label, an almost identical remake of the Chuck’s. You can see the comparison in the pics after the jump. Vans Holiday Switchback & Chukka Posted: 30 Sep 2009 11:58 AM PDT Vans has mastered the art of revamping its classic silhouettes in new colorways and with new materials, like the “Perforated Pack” we saw yesterday, but for this Holiday season we’re going to see one of their newest silhouettes in the Vans Switchback. But don’t worry, the Chukka’s back too, and both are now available at Bows & Arrows Berkeley. The Chukka comes in two all-suede color-ups–a super light grey and also navy. The Navy sits on a white vulcanized sole, while the other uses a darker grey one. The Switchback, as you may remember from the California collection, is a boot-style sneaker with lots of padding and a thick vulcanized sole, which is sewn on to the uppers. The upper is made of a black waxed canvas, adding to its durability and rugged looks. The laces are straight from boots, also. It looks like Vans isn’t content to be just a summer shoe. Nike Terminator High “Noise” Sneak Peek Posted: 30 Sep 2009 11:28 AM PDT Lately, we have received photos of some very unique and outspoken Terminator styles including the “White Journey Pack” and the Swagger x Nike collaboration. On the contrary, we have now spotted a sneak peek of an upcoming, seemingly subtle Terminator dubbed the “Noise”. Supposedly, this “Noise” Terminator coincides with recent release of the Nike x Hiroshi Fujiwara x Fragment Design collaborative t-shirts and raglan tees. The sneaker itself seems to possess a mainly black leather base with minimal silver accents, namely the top part of the heel panel and the bottom which reads, ‘Noise’. Stay tuned for more information on this upcoming Terminator High. What are your preliminary thoughts on this sneaker? | Read the rest of Nike Terminator High “Noise” Sneak Peek © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike, Nike Terminator |

For more info on that situation, read our complete interview with manager Liz Sanchez. DXC will be hosted by Dro Pesci yet again, and feature some DJs and music while you check out the kicks and gear around the event.
