Nike Zoom Kobe IV "Rice High School"

Now available at Kix Files is this Kobe IV Rice High School PE. Earlier we showed you the IV that Kobe used to pay tribute to his own alma mater. This pair is a PE for the players at the school in Harlem that Kobe sponsors.

Featuring a green, yellow and white colorway, these have a pretty unique setup. We’ve all seen a ton of Kobe IV’s as of late, especially for different high schools. Don’t forget the Westminster High PE’s we showed you back in July. And with the addition of the Kobe IV Team colorways, it looks like Nike intends for every high schooler to have their own pair for this upcoming hoops season.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low

Posted: 04 Sep 2009 10:58 AM PDT

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low

Earlier this week, we broke the news that three Air Max LeBron VII Low colorways are set to drop next summer. Some scoffed at the idea, and some loved it. No matter how you felt about LBJ’s next known model, it looks like Nike has committed to an additional set of releases, as seen in the pictures we have for you today.

Eight total pairs, using what appears to be a mix of leather and a pseudo-nubuck, are to be expected. Nike has kept the VII news coming in heavily, and while the Lows have not yet been addressed much, this has all the makings of a full-scale LeBron line for the future.

Click here for pics of all the pairs.

Nike Footscape with FlywireNike’s retro oddly-shaped running shoe has started to grow a heavier following lately, with recent releases such as the Livestrong “FLOM” and Premium Essentials packs. Pics surfaced today of a model utilizing Nike’s most recent technological breakthrough–Flywire.

Little is known as of yet, but one should assume these Footscapes will be extremely light and flexible. From the looks of it, these will feature another one of Nike’s innovative technologies in the Free sole from the running stable.

Will these release as a Footscape Free Flywire? A Free Flywire Footscape? While little news is known just yet, we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as more information breaks.

Silas x Vans Sk8-Hi

Vans Sk8-Hi

If you recall, around this time last year Silas celebrated its 10th-year anniversary by collaborating with Vans on a multi-colored Sk8-Hi model. This year, both sides have hooked up for yet another fresh colorway of the Sk8-Hi.

Similar to the previously-mentioned design that both sides worked on, this particular pair also possesses the Silas logo (S) on the base; however, instead of it only being featured on the Vans strip logo, it is seen throughout the entire side panel and collar area. This sneaker also owns a predominately black, red and white upper combined with a white vulcanized rubber sole. Available on September 19th at select Silas retailers.

SURU x DC Life Xander

SURU x DC Life Xander

Skate company DC has released a lot of great non-skate models out of their DC Life label as of late. For fall of 2009, they partnered with retailer SURU on this high top Xander sneaker, with a little help from a certain artist and musician.

Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, bandmate of SURU owner Joe Hahn, provided the original artwork for the sole, which is a nice touch for those who only catch a glimpse as the wearer passes by. Like most of the DC Life designs, including the complete Fall Collection we showed you not too long ago, this sneaker maintains a clean design in black and light blue, all over a white vulcanized sole. The SURU logo appears on both the side of the ankle and the tongue. Mike Shinoda’s participation is given its due credit on the tongue as well, making for a total of three logos in that spot. These are limited to 500 pairs, so make sure to get on them quick when they release this holiday season.
