Nike Air Force 1 Black/White-Hyper Blue

Posted: 23 Oct 2009 12:58 PM PDT

Nike Air Force 1

There were both positive and negative comments on the Nike Air Force 1 holiday releases we showed you a couple of days ago. However, while we anticipate those (specifically the people that like them), JD Sports now has a new Air Force 1 colorway in stock.

This particular Air Force 1 contains a simple, subtle color design to say the least; however, its hyper blue accents (shoelaces, heel tab, Nike tongue logo) gives this shoe a nice contrasting color scheme. The predominance of the upper is covered in black leather with additional white details throughout the base. Is this Air Force 1 perfect for you during the fall/winter season? Click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Match Classic

Nike Match Classic

The Match Classic is a clean silhouette that’s low on flash and high on simplicity. Available now are three new colorways, all hit with Nike’s newest favorite treatment–vintage.

The soles may have some yellowing to them, but more natural colors were chosen for the uppers. A black, brown and red pair are all paired up with a leather liner of different colors. All three uppers are also completely suede. The red pair’s yellow liner gives it the look of the Air Zoom Tiempo we saw recently. For the brown and black pairs the liners are red and grey, respectively. As for now these are a Japan-only release.

Do these small Swoosh-sporting low-tops do it for you? Head to the comments section and weigh in.

Nike SB Blazer Team Red/Yellow

Posted: 23 Oct 2009 11:58 AM PDT

Nike Blazer

Last year, we frequently thought that it was the ‘Year of the Dunk’ seeing that we spotted more Dunk colorways than we could handle during 2008. Likewise, we have seen a plethora of Blazer this year. Is this the ‘Year of the Blazer’?

The latest Blazer features a predominately team red colored base mixed with a white vulcanized sole. As a nice color contrast accent, this shoe also possesses yellow details in the form of the swoosh and the Nike tag logos seen on the tongue and heel panel. This may be a nice pickup for you USC fans out there! Available now at Cali Roots. Click here to view additional photos.

Nike Big Nike Low “Gucci” Available Now

Nike Big Nike Low "Gucci" Available Now

Gucci. Clark Kent. Christmas. However you want to refer to these Nikes, they’re another in the long line of red, black and green Nikes to drop this Fall. These haven’t quite gotten the attention of the others, but at the lowest retail price, you don’t have to be in love with them to justify buying them.

1 Full size run is currently available on eBay at the easy Buy-It-Now price of $67. We also have a better look than the last time we saw these, showing the nubuck green panels. Like the Clark Kent Dunk Highs, these feature a black animal print, though these are reptilian, and not ostrich, on the toe caps and heels. A patent leather Swoosh in red completes the look.

These should hit retail soon, but for now, you can just head to eBay and grab these.

adidas ZX 8000 Retro

adidas ZX 8000 Retro

Around this time last year, adidas unleashed its memorable, aZX Project Q-Y that many sneaker enthusiasts took a liking to. It features seven stylish colorways of the ZX 8000 model. While not releasing as many this year, adidas has decided to bring back the original colorway of the ZX 8000 during the spring of 2010.

It possesses a predominately bright blue base with standout, yellow details on the adidas stripe logo (side panel), the toe area and inner lining. In addition, purple accents are seen on the side panels and tongue as well. As a branding tactic, the model name ZX 8000 is imprinted in black just below the collar. As for the release info, this retro will be a Europe-only release for 2010; yet, 50 pairs will be at select retailers in Berlin this November. Click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Dunk High “Dia De Los Muertos”

Posted: 23 Oct 2009 10:28 AM PDT

Nike Dunk High "Dia De Los Muertos"

We’ve gotten a look at Nike’s Halloween-related releases in the past month or so, from the Savage Beast AF1s to the Dunk Low “Dia De Los Muertos.” Another Dunk that got a lot of attention was this black High “Dia De Los Muertos,” of which we have confirmed the release date.

Next Saturday, October 31, House of Hoops will release these just in time for the big day. These are, of course, actually designed for the Mexican “Day of the Dead” holiday not Halloween, but this release provides time enough to grab them regardless of which you celebrate. The uppers on these use premium black leather with printed purple and black leather on the toe and flap panels. Orange contrast stitching sets off the dark colors to boot.

If you’re not near an HOH location, call your local boutique and see if they’re getting them in. Are these a trick, or a treat?

Nike Blazer Mid ND Grey/Black

Nike Blazer

A couple of weeks ago, we informed you of the Nike Blazer Mid ND Black/Red releasing at select retailers, namely Nike Sportswear. However, we have also spotted its counterpart (if you will) at retailers such as Bows & Arrows.

Similar to the aforementioned black/red Blazer, this particular sneaker features a 100% suede upper combined with a white vulcanized rubber sole. Yet, this time we see it in done up in grey. In addition, the vertical stitching on the sole and the perforated swoosh are also visible as well. As stated earlier, you can pick this up now at Bows & Arrows.
