Jordan Spizike Boot Dark Cinder/Black

Posted: 28 Oct 2009 12:58 PM PDT

Jordan Spizike Boot

The Jordan Spizike Boot has been a fan favorite ever since we first showed you photos this past summer. A couple of colorways, including the black/yellow and this dark cinder/black, have been released at select retailers. However, this Jordan Spizike Dark Cinder/Black is now available at Nike’s online store.

It features a predominately dark cinder colored base with minimal black accents in the form of the laceholders and tongue. To coincide with those sections, this shoe is finished with a rugged, black sole. As an added feature, this Spizike Boot also contains elephant print designs on the heel panel and toe area. As stated earlier, it is now available at Nike’s online store for $185.

Dwyane Wade Discusses His Move to Jordan Brand

By now, the news of Dwyane Wade’s move to Jordan Brand is old news. Having seen him train in a number of JB products as well as the Converse signature that never was, the off-season hoopla is over and the season has begun.

Dwyane sat down with Sarah Talalay of the Sun Sentinel to talk about the reasons behind his move to JB and some things to look forward to in the near future. Topics included his motivation for the change, to which Wade responded, “Converse is under the Nike umbrella, so it was a decision from Nike, not only to put me into the Jordan Brand, where my individual things could be seen more, but also to help the brand as it continues to grow. So it was a corporate decision, and I just reaped the benefits from it. I had a great team at Converse, but I think it was time to move on from both sides, so it was great.”

Answering questions about this upcoming season’s sneaker selection, Dwyane gives us a decisive answer on what he’ll wear, but you’ll have to check out the full interview yourself. Here is a hint though: We predicted the choice with our 15 Sneaker Possibilities for Dwyane Wade This Season feature. Also check out Wade’s first commercial for his new brand, which features Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul, as well.

Reebok Top DownDespite all of the ‘Pump’ sneakers we have seen throughout the past couple of months, photos of other soon-to-be-released sneakers continue to surface on the web. Lately, we have seen the Reebok Kamikaze 2010 and the Orchard Street x Reebok Fuze 1.0 just to name a couple. Tomorrow, October 29th, 2009, Reebok will unleash a collaboration with HELLZ.

Both sides joined efforts on the newly-designed silhouette dubbed the Top Down which was exclusively created for the women. This sneaker fits in perfectly with all of the high-top sneakers that have released this year. It features a heavily-perforated upper colored in black and white with the sole coming in the latter color. Other features include the stone design on the side panel and the roll-down flap which possesses the word HELLZ in pixels.
