Nike Zoom Kobe V “Away” Detailed Pics

Nike Zoom Kobe V "Away" Detailed Pics

Of the two production-ready colorways of the Zoom Kobe V we’ve seen thus far, the black and purple “Away” make-up is without a doubt the more subtle look. The “Chaos,” which we got a very detailed look at yesterday, was originally hated by many for its wild colors, but a portion of those same readers had their opinion swayed by the high quality photos. Will these photos give the same result?

We get a great look at the shiny purple reptile print that covers the toe area and Swoosh. The same print is also used in black for the tongue and very tip of the toe. The laces are two-color with black and yellow, somewhat similar to those we saw on the Zoom Kobe IV “Carpe Diem.” We get a great look at the matte finish of the toe and Flywire mid-panel, which contrasts against the shiny finish used elsewhere on the shoe.

Nike Auto Flight High Black/Red

Posted: 18 Nov 2009 11:58 AM PST

nike-auto-flight-high-lead

The super high Nike Auto Flight High has been seen in a number of colorways since its release. This hybrid sneaker, mixing the Flight Lite High with a vulcanized sole, is coming in a black and red colorway, similar to the black and infrared pair we saw not too long ago, but these are even darker.

This pair features a black patent and red Safari upper, making sure they’re anything but subtle, despite their dark mostly black colorway. Safari print is used on heel and ankle support, as well as the mid-panel, while red woven material is used on the liner and tongue underside. Black patent leather is used throughout the remainder of the upper, including the toe and heel areas.

How do you feel about these Auto Flights? Head to the comments section and let us know.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Black/Black

Posted: 18 Nov 2009 11:28 AM PST

Nike Air Max LeBron VII

Three weeks ago, Foot Locker stated that Nike will unleash an all-black Nike Air Max LeBron VII dubbed the “Phantom” in December. However, we now know that there is no such LeBron VII dubbed the “Phantom” and that this particular sneaker, shown to the right, is the final product.

This black on black “Phantom” Air Max LeBron VII will officially release on December 17th, 2009. Therefore, you have a some big decisions to make this December (see Air Jordan 12 White/Red, Space Jam). Besides the all-black upper, this shoe also possesses metalliic gold accents in the form of the top laceholders and the LeBron logo on the heel panel. As stated earlier, look for this LeBron VII to hit retailers on December 17th, 2009. Click here to view detailed photos.

HUF x Reebok Pump

HUF x Reebok Pump

The 20th anniversary collection of the Reebok Pump has given us some very nice color and material selections, ranging from ocean-inspired to snow-resistant. This next collaboration from the minds at HUF hits us just in time, as the release date is only days away.

A deep green-blue contrast black leather for the upper, while bright yellow works as a jump off. The latter hue is used on the toe’s contrast stitching and laces. Patterned wool is used on the upper ankle area, with a grey zig-zag running across it. Another look we haven’t seen yet is the splattered outsole, differentiating these further from other collabs we’ve seen thus far.

Jordan Spizike Black/Cement Grey Detailed Photos

Posted: 18 Nov 2009 10:28 AM PST

Jordan Spizike

If you recall, we got a glimpse of this Jordan Spizike Black/Cement Grey via Eddie Cruz’s Twitter account. Upon seeing this shoe the majority of you stated that it was somewhere at the top of your must-have list. It has been stated that this shoe will release in February 2010; meanwhile, check out detailed photos of this Spizike.

This Jordan Spizike is obviously inspired by the Air Jordan IV Black/Cement Grey. It features a predominately black upper with minimal red accents on the laceholders and sections on the outsole. The cement grey details appear on the straps and side wall. In addition, the inner lining ties back to the classic Mars Blackmon commercials. Could this be the best colorway seen on the Jordan Spizike yet? Click here to voice your opinion.

Nike Zoom Sharkalaid Rudy Gay & Deron Williams PEs

Posted: 18 Nov 2009 09:58 AM PST

Nike Zoom Sharkalaid Rudy Gay & Deron Williams PEs

Just last week we saw Deron Williams sporting some slick black Zoom Sharkalaids in our daily Kicks on Court feature. As a leading point guard in the NBA, it’s only right that he gets his own PE, if not a signature, and Nike has obliged him with these Zoom Sharkalaids, which are available now at House of Hoops locations. Another player who deserves and has received a PE? A guy by the name of Rudy Gay, whose dunks you can find on a near-nightly basis on ESPN highlight reels.

D-Will’s PEs feature a white and carolina blue make-up, matching the Jazz’s white uniforms. The icy blue sole is translucent, and the straps feature a weave of a similar colorway. For Rudy’s PE, the color-up is black, though the accents and designs throughout are nearly identical to the white pair we saw him wear on Media Day. Black patent leather makes up the majority of the upper, while yellow and light blue accent the Swoosh, straps and midsole.
