Nike Air Max BW Gen II

Nike Air Max BW Gen II

The new technologies form Nike are going to continue release it seems, as Torch will make a debut in 2010 in the Air Max BW Gen II. The Air Classic BW is getting an upgrade, and a redesign, in the form of this new tech material and styling cues.

Slits have been added to the forefoot similar to the Free sole, and mesh appears throughout for breathability. The Torch material works to not only lighten a shoe, similar to Flywire, but it also aids in breathability. This particular pair uses an all nubuck upper in black. The shoe itself was designed around next summer’s World Cup and world class soccer players helped to design these for pre- and post-match wear. Keep an eye out for these early- to mid-next year.

Adidas Conductor Hi + ZX 800 Black/White

Posted: 03 Dec 2009 12:28 PM PST

adidas ZX 8000 Retro

The OG ZX 8000 is undeniably the most highly anticipated Adidas release of 2010 so far. In addition, Adidas is set to release subtle colorways of the infamous Conductor Hi and ZX 800 in January 2010 as well.

Both silhouettes feature simple, black/white color schemes, yet they both contain distinctive, unique elements. For example, they both own an embossed check pattern throughout the tongue, collar, side and heel panels. The rest of the upper is smothered in black nubuck, while both are finished with a white outsole. Look for these sneakers to drop in January; meanwhile, you can pre-order them at select retailers now. Click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Bespoke Air Foce 1 by Masta Mike

The Bespoke program from Nike means that Air Force 1 lovers can go above and beyond with customizing their next pair. And it looks like “Masta Mike” did just that, as he went with almost every material in the design catalog.

Twister croc appears on the heel next to both mesh and nubuck, which complete the construction of the upper. Suede appears at the midfoot around the laces, which are waxed and purple. A lighter shade of purple is used on canvas Swoosh. Finally bringing the shoe to a close is the grey elephant print on the heel.

Under Armour Prototype 3 “Young Buck” Preview

Posted: 03 Dec 2009 11:28 AM PST

Under Armour Prototype 2

It is safe to say we have paid more attention to Brandon Jennings’s feet more than anybody else in Kicks On Court not named Dwyane Wade or LeBron James. The Under Armour PEs have brought a breath of fresh air to the court to say the least.

With that said, Jennings recently previewed his Under Armour Prototype 3 “Young Buck” from his Twitter account. From what we can see, this shoe possesses a higher cut than the Prototype 2 we have seen throughout Kicks On Court. It also seems to own a perforation design on the heel panel and collar area. Other features include the Under Armour logo on the forefoot and a matching, white outsole. Stay tuned for more information. What are your thoughts on Under Armour’s basketball sneakers?

Asics Gel Lyte III Holiday Releases

You probably know the Asics Gel Lyte III best from the Trilogy Pack, in which Nice Kicks, Culture Shoq and High Snobiety all participated. And while this particular model has been designed as a collaborative effort between different parties, Asics is hitting us with two more colorways for the Holiday season.

The first uses brown for the majority of its upper, with suede being the choice material for the toe and heel panels. Multiple shades of brown and an equally numerous amount of materials are used throughout, including mesh on the toe and leather on the “arches” logo. A touch of red is also used on the middle eyelets and heel. The other pair for the season is done with black and grey, substituting blue for red for its accents. Suede is used again on the toe in black, while grey accents appear throughout, including the web patterned midsole.
