Air Jordan 6 Retro Detailed Pics

The AJ11 “Space Jam” may be the retro release everyone is waiting for, but only weeks after it releases, Jordan Brand is hitting us with yet another classic in the Air Jordan 6. We’ve seen a few pics before, but now we get a great detailed look at these January releases.

As you know, Varsity Red has been substituted on the midsole in place of the classic Infrared, though it’s fair to say we can all agree it will do the trick. The icy outsole is of course back as well. The lace lock and tongue Jumpman logo are done up in the same shade of red. These are the first releases of the 6, but of course more are scheduled for early 2010 including the Black/White/Splatter pair we saw in depth awhile back. Be on the lookout, because classics are on their way.

Reebok Classic 25th Anniversary “Paris”

Posted: 08 Dec 2009 12:28 PM PST

Reebok Paris Runner 25th Anniversary

We may have just celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Reebok Pump, but 5 long years before we were able to inflate our sneakers, we had the Reebok Classic.

And to celebrate the 25th Anniversary, Reebok is dropping this Parisian-inspired red, white and blue color-up this week at select retailers. Royal blue suede pops off the clean synthetic upper, while red leather is used for the other half of the classic Vector logo design. At around 80 USD, these won’t break the bank by any stretch, and are a great addition to any running shoe fanatic’s collection.

Jordan 16.5 White/Grey

First Look: Jordan 16.5 White/Grey

Just yesterday we got a look at the recently-released “Cool Grey” 16.5s, and the response was resoundingly positive. This next pair, which we’re getting our first look at now, use a good bit of grey as well, and could be the next colorway to hit retailers.

While they may not feature any team or player logos, these may very well end up on the feet of Dallas Mavericks forward and Jordan Brand athlete Josh Howard. Just like the “Cool Grey” pair from yesterday, these feature heel and toe patent leather panels and a durable mesh mid-panel. However, a white leather upper is used, and navy blue accents are used throughout, including the midfoot eyelets, liner and the raised Jumpman logo.

Supra Skytop II "Gradient" Available Online Today

Chad Muska’s second signature Skytop model, the Supra Skytop II, is dropping today online at noon PST in a very limited run. Factory413 will release these special shoes, of which only 600 pairs were produced, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This design, as mentioned before, is the follow-up to the wildly popular Skytop, and features a more complicated design than the original, as it possesses “layers” along the upper’s mid-panel. Through these, the namesake gradient effect appears, as multiple greys are used over black and white. Red is also used throughout, including the liner and vulcanized sole pinstripe.

Click here to see our previous detailed look, and then head directly to Factory413’s online store. Don’t sleep on these!

Nike Blazer High Carbon Fiber

Nike Blazer High Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber is good enough for the construction of the world’s most high-end sports cars, so it is definitely good enough for a pair of Nikes. These Blazers may not be made with the real deal weave, but they still look slick.

As noted above, the imitation look covers the majority of the upper, while grey nubuck is found on the midfoot, forefoot accent piece, heel tab and tongue. A large white Swoosh breaks up the dark construction, while a a two-tone grey sole brings the colorway home. These are available now at select retailers, including Standard Atlanta.

Adidas Samba Grey/White

Adidas Samba Grey/White

The adidas Samba is a certified classic. For this next round, it’s dropped in a grey suede color-up, keeping these retro style sneakers simple and old school.

As mentioned above, grey suede is used for the entirety of the upper, as it covers every panel. The tongue is done up in a matching shade, though it’s made of leather instead. A white, textured vulcanized sole is used, matching the classic triple stripes that dart up the side. To match the leather stripes, the heel panel is done in the same fashion. To break up all the grey, a rectangular blue tongue label is done in traditional adidas fashion. These are out now at select retailers, including Schuh-You.

Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Tan/Brown

Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski Tan/Brown

The Zoom Stefan Janoski will be back for 2010, gracing us again with  classy colorway that’s wearable both on and off your skateboard. Similar to the Obsidian pair we saw awhile back, leather is the choice material for the upper.

Keeping the colors neutral are brown accents throughout. They appear on the the tongue label, sole pinstriping, liner and stitched Swoosh. Leather laces, which we’ve seen on almost all previous color-ups, are back, though they’re white here to match the vulcanized sole. As stated above, these will drop in 2010 some time.
