Verner Panton x Converse Chuck Taylor

The classic Chuck Taylor has undergone a series of changes in 2009. We have also spotted it in a number of collaborations including the Comme Des Garçons Play x Converse Chuck Taylor, the The Clash x Converse Chuck Taylor Lineup and the Robert Indiana x Converse Chuck Taylor "Love" Pack. Furthermore, Converse has joined efforts with one of Denmark’s well-known artist Verner Panton for this Chuck Taylor design.

Panton applied his unique furniture designs and interior creations to this Chuck Taylor. It features predominately beige canvas upper with a multi-colored design streaming from the collar area to the sides of the shoe. It is also finished with a white sole and a white toe cap. Available now at honeyee’s online store.

Nike Terminator High “Noise”

Nike Terminator High "Noise"

We’ve seen the Terminator in every style it seems, from the wild Swagger collaboration to the super subdued “Noise” version we have here now. You’ll recall this isn’t our first encounter with this particular sneaker, as we got a sneak peek while back.

Now not only do we have a look at the matching t-shirt for the pack, but we can now say they’ll release this weekend, December 12th, at Nike Tokyo. The first matches the sneakers perfectly, as it also features metallic silver on it. The shoes themselves are black leather with touches of silver, and the obvious “Noise” written on the heel. If you have a Japanese connection, do you plan to use it for these?

Air Jordan 1 High

It is safe to say the Silver Anniversary Jordan sneakers are a favorite amongst many sneaker lovers. After viewing the collection in its entirety, we received word that an Air Jordan 1 “Silver Anniversary” will be hitting retailers in 2010. We now have detailed photos of the packaging for this upcoming sneaker.

As of late, JB seems to be getting more creative with their packaging of highly-anticipated releases. Specifically, the “Space Jam” packaging features its own, one-of-a-kind, distinctive elements and the retro of the retro card is a nice, added touch as well. This Air Jordan 1 “Silver Anniversary” will come in an aluminum briefcase similar to the Air Jordan XVII. The Jumpman is featured on the top of the briefcase, while the newly-designed 23/25 logo appears around the handle area. What are your thoughts on the “Silver Anniversary” Packaging? Tamiya x New Balance 574

Tamiya x New Balance 574

Seriously, who doesn’t love RC Cars? At any age, driving around a plastic car and running into furniture is fun. So to channel that feeling, whether from yesteryear or yesterday, New Balance has paired with Tamiya on this 574 runner.

Patent leather is used extensively, giving off the reflective look of the extremely popular Tamiya Dash-1 Emperor RC car. Yellow appears on the heel and N logo, while orange makes up the upper’s majority. Red and blue are also used as accents. On the tongue, the number 49 is embroidered. Another touch you’ll notice includes the star shaped eyelets, another nod at the RC car.

Vans Sk8-Hi

The Sk8-Hi model has been a canvas for a number of collaborations this year such as the 10th anniversary pair done for Silas and the Jason Jessee x Vans Syndicate Sk8-Hi Pack. Now, Vans has joined efforts with Washington DC based Palace 5ive on a Sk8-Hi Vert-Pro for a special holiday release.

This Sk8-Hi is smothered in royal blue chess ford ballistic mesh combined with a white vulcanized rubber sole.
