| Overkill x New Balance 577 “Berlin Wall” Pack Posted: 12 Dec 2009 11:58 AM PST  Though it will be 2010 when these finally hit shelves, and the 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall will technically have past, the Overkill x New Balance 577s still make for an inspired pack. We saw these awhile back, when the release date originally thought to be December 16th, and now we have not only updated date, but some detailed pics, as well. As we see in this round of photos, the red pair of 577s uses a far brighter shade that we originally saw, when they looked near maroon. The tongue tag has also been changed dramatically, as it no longer bears the New Balance logo and London Jack, but now has a graphic of the Berlin Wall. All three pairs will be available on January 9th, with production limited to 577 pairs of each color, at Overkill, Undefeated, Colette, Hanon, Sneakersnstuff, 24 Kilates and Wood Wood. | Read the rest of Overkill x New Balance 577 “Berlin Wall” Pack

| Nike Hypermax Emeka Okafor PEs Posted: 12 Dec 2009 11:13 AM PST  Since coming to New Orleans, Emeka Okafor has performed pretty well for himself, as he averages a double-double. The Hornets have struggled, but Emeka can be thankful he’s got Chris Paul as a running mate. For the beginning of the 2009-2010 season, Okafor has been seen wearing the Nike Hyperize, and now we get a closer look at two of his PEs. The shoes’ soles are almost identical to one another, with the exception of the heel on the “Away” pair being black and not purple, as it is on the “Home” pair. That white pair features purple accents throughout its upper, and utilizes Flywire in white with teal threading. The other pair compliments its black leather with matching Flywire and a purple liner and tongue. | Kicks On Court: Joe Johnson’s Jordan 16.5 PEs Posted: 12 Dec 2009 10:28 AM PST  A week ago, we showcased Dwyane Wade rocking what seemed to be the best Jordan 16.5 PE yet. Upon seeing that, the majority of you stated that ‘Flash’ has the best PEs so far this year. However, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see one of Joe Johnson’s fresh PEs. In a win against the Toronto Raptors, Atlanta Hawks guard/forward Joe Johnson wore a primarily navy blue colored Jordan 16.5. This particular sneaker coincided perfectly with the throwback Atlanta Hawks jerseys in red, white and blue. Johnson’s PEs also feature white accents throughout the base and is finished with a white sole. Could this Jordan 16.5 PE be the best yet? | Air Jordan 12 (GS) Black/Grand Purple Posted: 11 Dec 2009 04:13 PM PST  Tomorrow, the future ‘heads of America get a chance to grab a pair of special Air Jordan 12s in a kids-only colorway, as it marks the official national release. These Jordans have been (sadly) limited to the younger ones, but regardless, they are without a doubt a “win.” The uppers are made with black nubuck, similar to the 12 “Nubuck” that retroed earlier this year. The toe portion is made with ultra gloss black. Grand Purple is used on the outsole, as well as the underside fo the tongue and tongue logo. On the heel, the tab is accented with Aquamarine, giving these a very “Aqua” feel. | Air Force Friday: 3M Snakeskin Posted: 11 Dec 2009 03:28 PM PST  Nike definitely gave the sneaker lovers what they wanted when it came to Air Force 1s in the early part of this decade. How can one not love the details and quality material that was used to create this classic release? Nike decided to use a premium black, pebble-esque leather on the toe cap and side panels, along with a 3M overlay for the toe area, midfoot section and heel panel. To finish it off, this shoe features a snakeskin swoosh, a white midsole and a black outsole. Although these where a UK and Japan-only release, many people all over the world managed to get their hands on these kicks. Were you one of the lucky ones that scored this gem? | Release Reminder: Air Jordan Fusion 13 Black/Varsity Red-White Posted: 11 Dec 2009 02:58 PM PST  Tomorrow, December 12th, 2009, Jordan Brand will unleash the second and final Air Jordan Fusion 13. Does this colorway interest you more than the Air Jordan Fusion 13 White/Black-Varsity Red that released at the end of November? This Air Jordan Fusion 13 obviously borrows its colorway from the infamous Air Jordan XIII Black/Varsity Red-White that released in 1997. This Fusion also owns other, distinctive elements that made the Air Jordan XIII special. For example, the midfoot and side panels still possess the minuscule 3M dots, while the ever-so-popular hologram bubble is still on the heel panel.
