Vans Sk8-Hi Standard Issue LX

Vans Sk8-Hi LX

Vans has been releasing a plethora of Sk8-Hi LX colorways this fall/winter season including the cherise and the black/white colorways. Next up, Vans has unleashed the newly-designed Sk8-Hi Standard Issue LX in a fresh colorway.

It features a very similar design to the original Sk8-Hi model; however, it does possess attributes of its own as well. For example, it contains a more durable feel and it utilizes suede on the base. Speaking of the base, it is smothered in royal blue and owns tan colored Vans tongue logo. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a black inner lining and a white vulcanized rubber sole. Available at Vans’s online store for $70.

Kicks On Court: Holiday Treats

Over the past decade and beyond, great NBA matchups have been nothing less than an intricate part of Christmas Day. It is our chance to see some of the best players in the game go head to head. These players undoubtedly bring their best game and they do it in style. With that said, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see a recap of what some of your favorite players were wearing on Christmas Day.

There was quite a few sneakers stories and debuts around the NBA yesterday to say the least. First off, Kobe Bryant and a few of his Lakers teammates unleashed the Nike Zoom Kobe V on the court for the first time this season. Bryant, Derek Fisher, Shannon Brown and Lamar Odom all rocked the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Chaos”, while some of the fans were seen in their own Kobe V colorways. On the contrary, LeBron James debuted the Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Christmas” in a winning effort against the Lakers. Yesterday also brought about the debut of the Air Jordan Alpha 1 on the court. Players such as Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen, Quentin Richardson and Jared Jeffries all wore different colorways of the Air Jordan Alpha 1.
