New Balance 1300 “Flimby” Pack

Posted: 07 Jan 2010 12:58 PM PST

New Balance 1300 "Flimby" Pack

New Balance may be based in Boston, but they produce some seriously nice sneakers out of their Flimby plant in the United Kingdom. And to pay tribute to the plant, the next set of 1300s has been dubbed the “Flimby” Pack, and all are available for pre-order at hanon now.

All three pairs use identical construction, with premium suede on the uppers, while synthetic mesh fills in the remainder. Blue, dark tan and grey will all be available soon. The left shoe features the London Jack flag to further designate where they were put together.

Nike Zoom Kobe V

Have you created your own Zoom Kobe V on NikeiD yet? If not, maybe you’re waiting for one of the special edition colorways to surface. Enter in this Nike Zoom Kobe V “Bruce Lee”. Although we still do not have official release date information, check out detailed photos of this highly anticipated sneaker.

As we stated in the previous post, this shoe was created because of Bryant’s love for Kung Fu. Its mainly yellow colored base coincides with Bruce Lee’s yellow bodysuit he wore in “The Game of Death”. In addition, this shoe adds four scratch marks that represent the scratches Bruce Lee took while fighting in "Enter the Dragon". Is this the best Kobe V colorway yet? Click here to view additional photos.

Air Jordan 2010 Black/University Blue Detailed Photos

Posted: 07 Jan 2010 11:28 AM PST

1

We are a little over month away from the release of the Air Jordan 2010, and it seems a lot of you are starting to take a liking towards it as time goes by. Specifically, most of you stated that you would prefer the second Air Jordan 2010 colorway over the original pair and rightfully so.

It features a black and university blue colored base comprised of both patent leather and nubuck. The black patent leather covers the entire toe area and heel panel, while the black nubuck is seen throughout the midfoot, side panels and tongue. Of course, it features some of the same elements seen on the original colorway such as the oft-criticized window and the newly-designed ‘23′ logo on the tongue; however, its colorway gives the shoe a standout look. Hopefully, we will see Carmelo Anthony sporting these some time during the second half of the season. Click here to view additional photos.

adidas Originals Phantom II "NBA" Pack

We’ve seen five of these shoes before, but we’re finally getting a look at the 6th in the series of adidas Originals Phantom IIs for the “NBA” Pack.

We’ve seen the Bulls, 76ers, Knicks, Celtics and Heat all represented with their own respective pairs, but until now, the final shoe and team had not been revealed. Well, it looks like a storied history and being defending NBA Champs was enough of a resume to earn a pair, as the Los Angeles Lakers are the last link in the chain. Purple leather is used for the entire costruction of the upper, with the exception of the area near the ankle. The Lakers logo and “Lakers” both also appear on the tongue and heel, respectively.

Overkill x New Balance 577 "Berlin Wall" Pack

For a very simple pack of New Balance 577s, the “Berlin Wall” threesome has garnered a good amount of attention. Though the turn of the new year means it’s no longer technically the 20th anniversary of the Berlin Wall coming down, all three pairs become available this Saturday, January 9th at CaliRoots and other select retailers.

Designed, as mentioned above, as a tribute to a historical moment in the social, political and cultural sphere, all three of these 577s are limited to 577 pairs each. A grey nubuck mid-panel is used on each with choices between blue, red and black for the mudguard and N logo. These are only available in a limited run, so find your local dealer and get them this Saturday.
