Nike Air Max Rise Supreme David West PE

Posted: 15 Jan 2010 12:28 PM PST

Nike Air Max Rise Supreme David West PE

David West consistently has some of the best PEs from Nike. Thanks to New Orleans having such a distinct color palette, David has stayed laced with some great “big men” models, including the black Hypermax PE we saw awhile back. Now it looks like he has changed over to a model we see guard Brandon Roy wear often in the Air Max Rise Supreme.

Like the aforementioned pair, black works as the base color, with patent leather covering the toe, heel and mudguard. Ribbed leather fills in the mid-panel. Purple is used on the outsole, Swoosh, tongue and heel. Teal finishes the colorway, as it appears on the contrast stitching and other accents throughout. “DWest” appears over the purple and black carbon fiber on the heel. No information has been given to the possible release of these in stores just yet, but keep an eye out for these in Kicks On Court.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII "All-Star" Detailed Photos

This is our second look at LeBron’s All-Star signature in as many days. We get not only a better look at the special print used on the mudguard, but also gain a better understanding of this special shade of blue.

Previous All-Star blues have been royal or navy, but make no mistake about it–these are bright! Custom laces and their labels reading “***East***” and “***2010***” are used, further adding to how special this colorway is. We just got a look at Kobe’s own All-Star shoes this morning, and now that we get a comparable look at these Air Max LeBron VIIs, it’s up to our readers to again decide between the league’s best players and their shoes.

Nike Max A Lot

Posted: 15 Jan 2010 10:28 AM PST

Nike Air Pippen Hybrid

Much like Scottie Pippen’s career, his signature shoes were long overshadowed by his legendary teammate. But for those who paid attention to the Air Pippen line, there were many top-notch signature models. And for this Summer, Nike has combined some of them to create this hybrid, the Nike Max A Lot.

You’ll immediately notice the Nike Air More Uptempo’s “AIR” large across the side, which for some reason has been done in Rastafarian colors. The midsole “stripe” stems from the Nike Air Pippen II. Again, it’s been done in a Rasta-inspired yellow and green gradient. Black patent leather finishes the upper, while a full length injected Phylon midsole also exposes a visible Air Max unit. The outsole’s grip pattern is also modeled after a number of Flight shoes. This model starts hitting retailers for $88 in multiple colorways in April.

Posted: 15 Jan 2010 09:58 AM PST

Nike Air Force 1 "All Star Weekend"

Yesterday, we showed you the first installment of the 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend Nike Air Force 1s, and there was both positive and negative remarks. We now have two more All-Star Forces for you to voice your opinion on.

It seems as if these blue Air Force 1s represent the East All-Stars, while the red patent leather Air Force 1s we showed you yesterday represents the West All-Stars. This pair features a primarily blue patent leather base combined with a silver swoosh and a white midsole. Other features include a blue outsole, a white inner lining and a silver heel tab. The other new pair comes in the form of a Hi top. It is done up in mainly grey leather with multiple black accents including the strap, swoosh and sole. Both pairs also own the new Dallas All-Star Weekend logo which features a red and white basketball in the mold of the Texas shape. Supposedly, there is a fifth pair floating around! Stay tuned. Click here to view the second pair.
