| New Balance 998 Grey/Navy Blue/Red-White Posted: 07 Feb 2010 11:43 AM PST  It is safe to say the 998 Grey/Purple was one of the better New Balance sneakers that released in 2009. We rarely see the New Balance 998; yet, when it does release, it is seen in some nice colorways. Enter in this newly-released New Balance 998 colorway. It possesses a mainly grey suede base combined with a couple of navy blue mesh areas on the toe box and collar area. The latter sections are also accompanied by navy blue hints on the heel panel and outsole. Other features include a white inner lining, white shoelaces, a red, white and blue ‘Made In USA‘ tongue logo and a multi-colored midsole that features red, white and grey. | Nike Air Trainer SC 2010 - Player Edition Series Posted: 06 Feb 2010 08:38 PM PST  Nike has orchestrated an impressive campaign for introducing the Air Trainer SC 2010. The Swoosh began last year with the retro release of the Air Trainer SC in order to garner attention for this decade’s mutation. Since then, they have peppered the public with rousing colorways such as the Baseball Gloves, the Pro Bowls, and the Bo Knows Pack. Now taking their place amongst these colorways are the make-ups of the Player Edition Series. Nike has constructed unique color-ups of this new-age trainer for three of their athletes. Two of these athletes, LaDainian Tomlinson and Adrian Peterson, put in work as running backs on the gridiron whereas the third, Brian Clay, demonstrates raw stamina and an arsenal of talents as a decathlete. You can find multiple photos of each athlete’s player edition on the flipside. | Solebox x Lacoste 10789 Boots Posted: 06 Feb 2010 07:24 PM PST  Solebox linked up with Lacoste to design these two shoes that swallow both sneaker and boot attributes into one silhouette. The sneaker facets of the Solebox x Lacoste 10789 Boots reside in the 3M underlay that peeks through the mid panel perforations, the neoprene sockliner, the ankle mesh, and the midsole. As for boot aesthetics, the shoe utilizes wax leather and metal lace rings. 30 pairs of each colorway will release exclusively at Solebox on February 20. | UNDFTD x Gourmet Quattro Posted: 06 Feb 2010 06:54 PM PST  As a piece in their Spring 2010 Collection, Gourmet announces their first collaboration, the Quattro UNDFTD. This particular Quattro remains consistent with the rest of the collection by pairing design minimalism with premium materials. The seamless upper is wholly white, linen printed full grain leather. The midsole, lining, and tongue are visually defined by a contrast of black against the white upper. The red laces lay as the focal point because they sit centered on a blank background. While they are not pictured, three other pairs of laces are included with the shoes. They are royal, black, and white. The Quattro UNDFTD will release on February 15 at UNDFTD and a few other US retailers. | All-Star Sneakend Posted: 06 Feb 2010 04:20 PM PST  The NBA All-Star Weekend will soon commence in Dallas, TX. Many of us ‘heads are anxiously awaiting the myriad of All-Star sneaker colorways that will debut on the feet of the NBA’s best. Yet, All-Star Basketball will not be the only event in Dallas during that weekend. February 12 also marks the kickoff of the All-Star Sneakend. This sneakerhead swap meet will provide a place for collectors and retailers to buy, sell, and trade their shoes. Presiding over this mercantile commotion will be a handful of industry celebrities such as the ATF Crew and Jordan Brand Architect, Erin Patton. | Air Jordan I Phat Premier Posted: 06 Feb 2010 01:55 PM PST  Two quickstrike color-ups of The Air Jordan 1 Phat Premier have recently dropped. The Premier versions of the Air Jordan 1 Phat are characterized by the ornamental stitching that is sewn into the mid panel and toe box. Materially, the Premier editions are composed of supple pebbled leather. Each of these quickstrike colorways have a monochromatic upper and use a white lining and outsole. The difference between them is in color. One is varsity red and the other royal blue. Hit the jump for macro shots focusing on each shoe’s stitching.
