adidas Originals by Originals NIzza Hi by Jeremy Scott "Tassels"

Jeremy Scott’s work with adidas has long been controversial, thanks to its avant garde approach. While the “Wings” shoe has been seen a number of times, his latest work is on to Nizza His for adidas Originals by Originals.

The unconventional approach used before returns for these, as the “Tassels” renditions of the Nizza don just that–tassels. For one shoe, bright blue suede covers every panel. Along the midfoot, white trim is used to to match up with the leather stripes on the quarter panels. 8 tassels adorn the collar in white, as well. For the other pair, the “blackout” approach was utilized, as suede is used again for the upper, while the remainder of the shoe is also black.

This World Cup Series lineup consists of three sneakers that feature colorways most associated with the dominant soccer teams year in and year out. Specifically, the Italy inspired pair features a black nubuck base with a green, white and red Lakai logo (Italy’s flag colors) on the side panels, while France pair possesses a primarily blue nubuck upper. Lastly, the Barcelona is represented in the form of a navy blue and red colored Lakai sneaker with a yellow logo. Nike Air Max 1 White/Julep-Grey

The Nike Air Max 1 is on a roll so far this year. From the Columbia colorway to the Orange Blaze pair, Nike has proven time and time again that the team in Beaverton is able to put together a clean color scheme on the classic runner. This next pair displays more colors than the last few, but is still very wearable.

Julep, which is very similar to mint green, can be found on the mudguard, outsole and Swoosh in nubuck. Like the others though, grey is used on the heel and quarter panels. Orange is used as accent color on the top eyelet, heel embroidery and tongue tag, while yellow appears on the liner and Air Max bag. These are a ladies release, but we all know how to get around that. Look for these stateside soon.
